Well I feel each of us is thoughts, expressed or not, the capacity to be moved, the need to laugh or cry, longing for things just beyond our reach. It relates to the study because humanities is the process which we ourselves look squarely at and come to appreciate what is there for us to see, read, or hear. It it also referred to a technique for living accessible to every human being who wants to do more with life. What does it mean to be an “infinite” person? Describe either someone you know personally or a famous person in the news who seems to fit the label. It is referring to a person who is timeless and who is well respected by people from all different walks of life. The person that comes to mind that fits this description would be Clint Eastwood. He is someone who is timeless and very known. He has seamlessly moved from actor to an award-winning director, and people seem to respect him and his work even if they feel some is controversial.…show more content…
True wisdom appears when an individual is able to transfer thinking and learning from one situation to another situation. A wise person is able to analyze situations and topics and apply learning and thinking from similar elements of other situations and topics to solve problems. This connects to the idea of the figurative in several ways. For example, the phrase "I'm hungry enough to eat a horse." This isn't meant literally, but we understand that this person means she is very hungry. Wisdom is similar in that we must think beyond the situation or topic in front of us and consider our thinking/learning from other topics/situations as
