Criminal Justice Ethics Simulation 1. My first chose in decision 1. Would be to challenge my partner about how he conducted the interview. Although, my partner might have strong beliefs that the two offenders committed the crime he was justified in how he went about properly conducting the interview. First, he broke the department policy by not video recording the interview which was essential to built a solid case if they had confess in which he claimed the two did.
My judgments are my own and it’s unique. I can’t predict when it happens and when to shut it down, just like my heart beats. I thought this way because whenever I am are faced with someone or something new, I don’t necessarily think over my thoughts to see if it’s reasonable or if I should not think these thoughts. I was questioning how Gladwell will be able to educate and teach someone to control their judgments and first impressions because everyone is different and their thoughts are of course not the same. However, I do understand how learning to control my snap judgments and first impressions is important because it gives people a second chance to prove who they are but everyone is entitled to their own judgment and not everyone has to agree with
Working on an article is a privilege not a right, but I do believe that it wasn’t right when the editors didn’t think they had a chance. I also think that the editors did not encourage them because when Woodward and Bernstein had some of their articles published, no other journalist were re-printing their story. They became worried, and wanted to drop the story, thinking that if Woodward and Bernstein continued it, it would get nowhere. I think the story of Watergate was scandalous. It was an American Political scandal and a conflict in the 1970’s and also led to the resignation of president Nixon.

Not so much whether I would have won or lost but rather how the voters would have perceived me…” (133) Obama just stated how he cares more about how the people views him rather than his endorsements and rather than him losing or winning. Obama has been very blunt about his passion of serving the people of the United States of America time and time again, and he believes every politician should hold that component lose to their hearts rather than taking these offers from endorsers and expecting “special interest” out of them. According to Singer, it takes only $200 to save a child's life, and yet so many people are able but not willing to donate. Singer should not have demanded people to donate every cent of their extra money to save a child because it really redirects the attention of the audience he’s trying to persuade.
