Following the section where the author describes the changes between the new provisions to the original rights, she exemplifies sufficient evidence by providing examples of the people that have to undergo the results as a consequence of 9/11. Talanian portrays the idea of innocent citizens and immigrants having to deal with the consequences because of their color or race. She provides multiple evidences of foreign detainees that are captured because of their appearance and culture. The use of the simple words in each section of the book makes it easy for the readers to understand and interpret the issue. The author creates a very interesting tone to her writing by using the appeal of Pathos to persuade the readers to gain more political knowledge and take part in restoring their rights. 12. There are many similarities as well as differences throughout other books and this one.
