September 11th, 2001 In my perspective, what happened on September 11th, 2001, was an act of terrorism on the United States. It was a decade ago that 19 terrorists took control of four planes, flew two into the twin towers of the World Trade Center, hit the Pentagon with a third, and crashed the fourth in a field in Pennsylvania after passengers resisted and made it impossible for the terrorists to complete their mission. The government also thought that 9/11 was an act of terrorism put on by the Muslims. While conspiracy theorists have a different perspective because they believe that there was more to this attack, it was plotted out and people from America were in on it. There have been many different perspectives on what really happened on this day.
A day of chaos, confusion, and pure tragedy has left America and every American, whose day stopped on September 11th, 2001, permanently scarred. Clouds of thick, gray, debris-filled smoke engulfed downtown Manhattan shortly after two planes were hijacked and flown into the Twin Towers. The tragedy continued to shock the nation when a third plane crashed into the Pentagon and many were wondering if the attacks would ever end after a fourth plane plummeted to earth, crashing into a field in Pennsylvania. The emotions and thoughts that filled every American on that day are indescribable, but the effects 9/11 has had on today's society are rather easy to recognize. The 9/11 attacks on America have torn apart families, ostracized Muslims, and left

An important moment in history was the Sept. 11th suicide attacks on the U.S. that was coordinated by Al-Qaeda, sending our country into another war. The 9/11 attacks were so significant to the world because it was the biggest planned hijacking and took the most innocent lives during the 21st century. Lenin's plan caused much fear in the American people, and became more heightened when radical political activist felt this cause. So this caused the "first red scare" and this would be the first stage for a communist take over. These "activist" were called anarchist and were out to destroy the American government by violence. This resulted in a wave of terroristic violence in 1919, using bombs meant to hurt people near by and to cause fear throughout America itself. The anarchist used the Postal System to send over 20 bombs which were to explode upon opening, however the authorities discovered these bombs before they could detinate, and cause any harm.

Joshua Jackson S. Keeton ENGL 101 June 20th, 2013 A Remembered Event: September 11th, 2001 On the morning of September 11th, 2001 the United States of America found itself under attack by Al-Qaeda. Four commercial airliners were hijacked mid-flight. Two of the airliners were flown into the World Trade Center in New York City and another struck the Pentagon in Virginia. The fourth airliner was destined to hit the White House or the Capitol building but crashed in a field of Pennsylvania. Like most people who were old enough at that time, September 11th is a day that I vividly remember to this day.
“At 9:02 a.m. on April 19, 1995, a 7,000-pound truck bomb, constructed of ammonium nitrate fertilizer and nitromethane racing fuel and packed into 13 plastic barrels, ripped through the heart of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City. The explosion wrecked much of downtown Oklahoma City and killed 168 people, including 19 children in a day-care center. Another 500 were injured. Although many Americans initially suspected an attack by Middle Eastern radicals, it quickly became clear that the mass murder had actually been carried out by domestic, right-wing terrorists. The slaughter engineered by Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols, men steeped in the conspiracy theories and white-hot fury of the American radical right, marked the opening shot in a new kind of domestic political extremism.
