Hitler and the Nazi’s did not spare women or any one for that matter, Jewish non-Jewish as far as conducting mass murder operations go. Nazi’s promoted the complete annihilation of all the Jews, regardless of age or gender. During deportation operation, pregnant women and mothers of small children were consistently labeled as incapable of work. They were sent to the killing center, where camp officials often included them in the first groups to be sent to the gas chambers. Many women incarcerated in the concentration camps created in formal mutual assistance groups which facilitated survival through sharing information, food, and clothing. Often the members of the groups came from the same city of province, or had a similar level and style of education, or they even shared family ties. Other women were able to survive when the SS camp authorities deployed them in clothing repair, cooking, laundry, and housecleaning detachments.
