2.1 Explain how people may react and respond to receiving constructive feedback? When people have been given constructive feedback some people take it in a good way and listen to the feedback to try and improve on their work, but some people get defensive and take it as a dig at their work and choose not to follow the feedback. 2.2 Explain the importance of seeking feedback to improve practice and inform development? It's important to seek feedback to identify what is working well, identify areas for
Since he was unhappy with his life, Peter decided to take matters into his own hands. He did this by doing whatever he pleased. Work was the main source of Peter’s unhappiness, so he chose not to go to work. In “Self Reliance,” Emerson explained that “the doctrine of hatred must be preached, as the counteraction of the doctrine of love, when it pulses and whines” (Emerson 1). Peter shows how he hates work, so the key to his happiness is just not going.
According to the Expectancy Theory the motivational force is found in three factors, Expectancy probability, Instrumentality Probability and Valence. Employees of Supervisor A have several problems here. I believe Instrumentality Probability is applicable. From the brief discussions with Supervisor B it is apparent that the employees do not believe that performance–reward relationship is equal. Will they get a greater reward, better pay, or a promotion if they exceed the goal put to them?
ACT 3, SCENE 3 Introduction This scene (Act 3, Scene 3) is when the play changes. We no longer expect Iago’s plan which is to “Make the Moor thank me, love me and reward me. For making him egregiously an ass And practising upon his peace and quite Even to madness”, to fail or for Iago to give up, because, after putting poisoning ideas in Othello’s mind, the rest is easy. Othello’s thoughts of Desdemona will never be the same again. He’ll always doubt her, for ever.
Walter seems to be unsatisfied with his seemingly boring life where the most exciting task of his day is getting overshoes. This overwhelming boredom is why one would assume he is so imaginative. Walter retreats into his mind for entertainment instead of facing his unsatisfactory life. Walter Mitty is almost afraid to do exciting things and would rather be alone in his fantasy than in the real world, as he seems to be startled when “sucked” back into reality. In addition, his wife is not in any of his fantasies.
It is, maybe, one of the best-known soliloquies by Hamlet in the play, which produces significant scholarly investment even today. Hamlet is feeling profound agony and distress in light of his father's passing. It appears that he is not able to acknowledge this partition. He would like to live. Considering suicide, he doubts himself rationally in the event that it is legitimized to live with so much agony and anguish or if finishing his own particular life is the best conceivable choice.

The ratings system may have objective underpinnings, but put a lot of subjective thinking into evaluations. In my opinion when a performance evaluation is done it should be a tool that managers can use to provide feedback to employees to improve their job performance. Based on your view of the objectives of performance evaluation, evaluate the perspectives about performance appraisal presented by managers. Performance evaluations has several major purposes, a few include providing a basis for rewards and to evaluate previous training programs. (Ivancevich, Konopaske, Matteson) I believe the managers presented the flaws in the evaluation system.
I believe money can’t buy you happiness, so if you are at a job were you are not happy eventually it will start to affect your work ethics. Motivation I believe that intrinsic factors are more important than extrinsic factors. In order to have a successful career you must be passionate about what you do. Money will only motivate you for so long then you will begin to want more from your job. If you work at a job that you really don’t like you will not perform at your best.
Andrew Wolff IB English Mrs. Singer Act 3 Commentary Hamlet’s soliloquy in Act 3, the “To Be or Not To Be,” portrays Hamlet as a very confused man. He is very unsure of himself and his thoughts often shift between two extremes. In the monologue, he contemplates whether or not he should continue to live, or if he should end his own life. Also, he considers seeking revenge for his father’s death. However, unlike Hamlet’s first two major soliloquies, this one seems to be governed by reason and not frenzied emotion.
