Hispanic Influence on Modern US Culture Hispanic immigrants are more prevalent in the U.S., and we have made great mark on it, from colonial times some Latinos existed in this great country. Some from Mexico other from Florida which in that time was a colony of Spain, but in our days I think the greatest influence are in cooking, art, and sports. To begin I must say that we have helped in the kitchen largely in this society, one that inserted their dishes were undoubtedly the Mexicans from their tortillas, their tacos, and spicy foods, also the Argentine with his exquisite meats grilled, Peruvians and Bolivians with vegetable dishes and salads, and of course the Cubans with their black coffee, their roast Pork, and Cuban sandwich. In addition to the kitchen also in art Latinos have made great contribution as for example in music with famous artists such as Jennifer Lopes, Christina Aguilera, and Mariah Carey at the movies we could also include them, but you have to add to Andy Garcia, Antonio Banderas, Sofia Vergara, and many more that the list would be too big, but these are the most important. Also in the television have an entire institution such as Don Francisco, Cristina, and Selena Gomez as a new generation of Latinos making another contribution to this great country.
