The thing is this doesn’t go on in every other grade school; those other kids that don’t get this option are stuck. They are just given their homework every day and they have to go through the same routine without the 8th grade partner. This type of help builds on the civil literacy, it helps the young 1st grader mature more at a young age and be able to do some of the stuff the 8th graders do because they set good examples around the little
They are turning to a more unfamiliar way of helping themselves and their families. Adults are going back to school to update or expand their knowledge and help better themselves in the workforce. Today, older students are facing new and challenging issues in college classes, which younger students do not, due to recent schooling and knowledge of technology. As computer technology advances every day, older students are struggling to understand, as they are unfamiliar with computer use. Computers did not exist in their generation, so they never learned to how to use them.

In the beginning of the essay Pharinet starts by stating a common phrase, “You won’t get anywhere without your education (635).” This statement has been repeated to many individuals since elementary. Whether it was coming from teachers, parents, or families we’ve all heard it before. Secondly, Pharinet implied that a college degree doesn’t make everyone happy nor does it guarantee everyone success. Many college students go into financial debt trying to obtain the high cost of college tuition, because of this more college students are becoming drop outs after their first year of college.
Say Hello to my Little Study Buddy Most adults will arguably tell someone college is ‘the time of your life’ but what they forget to mention is the hardships and stresses it actually brings. There is a whole new curriculum, much harder than a high school one, and for most people their first time living on their own. One must learn more material in a shorter length of time from difficult assignments that will require a majority of one’s leisure time. The harsh reality is that students without parental supervision will unfortunately want to waste their free time doing more entertaining things than cramming their brains with gratuitous amount of new statistics, formulas and information. Anne School. It allowed students to fix their educational gaps and it prevented them from falling back in their classes. It also instilled in the students a time management skill that would benefit them in the long run. Unfortunately, there are not many tutors and after school teachers to go around. Many students end up leaving without understanding their math homework or any type of homework.
Like most high school seniors, I felt I knew everything I needed to pass by life. The thought of college very rarely crossed my mind so after high school all I was thinking of was all I need to do now is find a job. I quickly found out finding a job isn’t as easy as everyone who tells you. When I did think of college, I kept telling myself “I think I should take a few years off from school to find work.” Boy was that the worse idea I ever had, and now I wish I could take it all back. Unlike most high school students I didn’t attend a normal class, I felt the teacher was going too slowly at times and there was never any stress from other Students.

The purpose of this article is to prove that college is not designed for every individual. It is not a desire for knowledge that these individuals enroll in colleges straight out of high school, but for many different reasons that could be different for each person. Every person could have a different reason for attending college. It could be due to the fact that your parents pressured you into going to college. It could be that you felt you would find yourself in college after you graduated high school.
I don’t think elementary school and middle school really prepared me for college the way high school did. Education wise, I feel like high school more closely relates to college in the sense of preparation. Taking AP classes helped show me how much work I needed to start getting used to and the difficulty of that work. What high school did not teach me was that, I have to do everything by myself, literally, everything. I no longer had my mom enrolling me in school, it was all up to me.
America has been the home for numerous people and they feel the need to represent “their” country in many ways as possible. However, as they grow up they observe that they are limited to certain things including going to college. It is not because they are not intelligent or committed to education, it is simply because they do not have a legal status that provides the opportunity to apply for financial aid and in some cases college. During high school everyone starts planning their future, and one of the main focuses is getting into college. How would you feel if you find out that you cannot attend college?
