'Heal the World' is a song that describes a sad world where some people need our help to save their lives. This song was written by Michael Jackson himself. Given the title 'Heal the World', Michael fosters his idea to help the needies, especially the children as we can see from the music video. In the verse 1, Michael sings " If you really try …you'll fell there's no hurt or sorrow." This sentence deliver the meaning that if people try to help the poor children, there will be no sadness or regret for the loss of someone or something loved. They need our care, our love, and our attention. The way Michael sings it is really impressive that remind people to willingly give their help to those people and to continue their life. Michael sings the phrase in verse 3, "Wound this earth, crucify its soul, though it's plain to see, this world is heavenly, be God's glow." In my opinion, this statement portrays Michael’s idea in a religious way. As we all know, Jesus sacrifices his life for human beings, and why shouldn’t we, as human beings, to repay God’s love on us by helping the poor and be God’s glow.…show more content…
These three highlighted sentences tell us that we have to create a better place not only for the poor, but also for our children, for our next generation. What you do does not only benefit the poor people, but also for \the whole world. Imagine if countries are disappearing one by one, resources, animal, plants in those countries will be lost forever, and your next generations will have less things to enjoy. This message is clearly stressed by Michael in the last verse and repeated many times as a persuasion to us. This repetition of lyrics at the end of the song has an echoing effect on me, so the song has succeeded to plant the message on my brain even after the melody
