Radio is about a twenty-three year old mentally disabled young black man named James Robert Kennedy who pushes a shopping cart along the streets. The movie itself is more of a drama and is based on a true story. He gets the name Radio because he is always seen with one wherever he goes. He is attracted by a high school football team, but after the team's coach (Coach Jones) - taking pity on Radio, both for his disability and his enthusiasm - asks him to help, the team members abuse Radio by locking him into a shed. The team's coach reprimands them, and delivers Radio to his house, where Radio's mother is introduced.
Holden narrates that he smashed windows of the garage and cars, and he literally lost it. His family was also trying to get him psychoanalyzed because of his actions. After leaving Mr. Antolinin’s house, Holden goes to the train station. He reads a magazine over there and says, “The magazine said that if you had any sores in your mouth that didn’t heal pretty quickly, it was a sign that you probably had cancer. I’d had this sore on my the inside of my lip for about two weeks.
Both will be somewhat detrimental to the case. Per Ms. Spy’s statement, she saw Sarah Ewing get murdered by her husband, although she has to wear glasses to see far distances, and she later in the statement admits that she only saw the silhouettes of two people that appeared to be wrestling. Mr. Nosey says in his statement that he heard arguing, and saw a man running down the stairs that looked like John Ewing. He was, however, recovering from knee surgery at the time, and had to maneuver on crutches from his master bedroom to his front door to see this man, and later in his statement admits that he could not see him well. In conclusion, John Ewing did not kill his wife.
He brings stocking to a lady and we learn he is cheating on Linda. Willy begins to have many flashbacks to his brother Ben who has passed now. Willy wakes Linda and Biff one night when they find him outside in his slippers. The boys seem confused; they ask Linda how long it has been going on for. She explains that it is from his salary and working on commission.
Then her father takes the money she needs to use to get a real abortion in order to buy himself a new set of teeth. The town doctor explains that Cash’s leg was hopelessly destroyed by the cement cast, which his father did by the way... Vardaman realizes he’s poor because he can’t have toys like the other kids. Darl is shipped off to an insane asylum when he is suspected of the burning of the Gillespie farm. Anse borrows shovels to bury Addie’s body and flirts
Hans and Rosa began to hide a Jewish man, Max Vandenburg, in their basement until Hans made a mistake that forced Max to leave before the authorities came and found him. Alex Steiner, Rudy’s father, also made a mistake that threatened the authority of the Nazi party and he and Hans were drafted into the military. Hans broke his leg and was allowed to come back home to Molching. Late one night, while Liesel was in their basement writing an autobiography, the poorer part of Molching was bombed, where she happened to live and everyone was killed, except Liesel. First of all, the book provided me with many, somewhat random out of context, but interesting facts about what went on outside of the fictional story of Liesel Meminger.
The movie begins with a romantic scene between Marion and Sam in a hotel room, while their departure is somehow filled with depression and disappointment, due to Sam’s inability to pay his alimony very soon. Then Marion, who works in a real state office, in a moment, decides to steal $ 40,000 and flees the state. On her way, she stops by Bates Motel. After talking to Norman Bates, a disturbed young man and also the owner of the motel, who apparently lives with his old and invalid mother, Marion is murdered by Norman’s mother in her room while taking a shower. Then, Norman appears on the scene of the murder and hides the evidence, including the stolen money, by putting the body in the car and drowning in in a nearby lake.
Link is boy, whom his mother started seeing a man, Vince, after his father left them. Vince happens to be very abusing, and holds a grudge against Link and his sister, Carol. Due to his behavior, and after an argument, Carol decides to leave the house and live with her boyfriend. Tension started growing in the house, and so the consequences were large on Link. He started to perform badly at school and so, he decides to follow his sister’s steps and leave the house.
If one country is threatening another country, then they go to war and attempt to kill each other off. The movie, “A History Of Violence” portrays the idea of humans being inherently violent through the actions of Joey/Tom and his acquaintances. In one of the opening scenes, there are two murderers that enter Tom’s Diner at closing time. The men attempt to take everyone in the restaurant hostage and seconds before the raping of the waitress, Tom smashes a coffee pot on the face of one of the murderers and shoots and kills both of them. As the murderers were preparing to kill everyone, Tom attempted to talk to them and alleviate the situation to avoid anybody getting hurt.
Because of his addiction, he is thrown out of his home by his parents. His father smacks him in the face, calls him trash and throws him out on the street. Not long after Lucky finds Dove. Dove is a drug dealer who decides to help Lucky and takes him into his home, where Lucky is to be his runner. Lucky seems happy to be working for Dove as well as living with him and there seem to be a light ahead for him.
