Do we have any proof that this is a known fact in our society? The answer to this question is yes. Since a great deal of minorities are in disadvantage neighborhoods and tend to get in the system more than others they tend to get more time because of their situations. Most minorities that come through the courts systems either have no money or no job. This causes problems for them to get lawyers as well as get out of jail.
One of the effects of criminal justice system is cases are often dismiss or pleas are bargained for which is due to lack of evidence against defendants, less-serious offenders are put on probation where they are incarcerated only upon violation of probation or committing another crime. During the criminal justice funnel process the offender may have to wait month or even years for a hearing during this time

Drug-free and nonviolent offenders who dominated the prison populations in the 1940-1970 are still a substantial minority.
It’s sad to think that these juveniles could turn their life around and possibly be model citizens once back out in the population. My thoughts are that the youth today facing criminal offenses need to be evaluated differently from adults in our courts and the appropriate laws should treat them accordingly. The crimes of juveniles need to be more closely evaluated while considering their age, family life, and other factors before a fair punishment can be agreed upon. Something I read while researching this topic was about a young woman Sarah Kruzan. At age 16 she shot and killed her pimp who had sexually and physically abused her.
Furthermore, excluding young offenders from society is denying them the opportunity to meet positive role models and mentors. . With other trouble people is simply perpetrating the problem it is teaching them bad behaviour and excluding them from all of the positives influences they would experience in normal society they need to be able to experience different things and develop positive goals because if they have a sense of purpose they will become better people in the future. Second of all only 14% juvenile offenders are in detention and the rest of juvenile offenders are supervised in the community. So if 86% of the offenders are being supervised why the rest of the 14% can’t also be supervised.
The youths that are being tried in the adult courts should be offered to better themselves as for they are not fully developed at the ages under eighteen. Punishing a teen by taking away their rights for life is not helping the betterment of society. Another person in prison means more local taxes for another set of clothing, more food, and occasionally, more space to be built. A psychologist could benefit from these children who caused trouble, especially if the trouble was un intentional. Juveniles have greater possibility than adults to make a change in their lives with the right help with counseling and rehabilitation.
Parents are often show frustration at not being there and being able to help their children in addition to not getting to see them as much as the teachers do. Parents may be reluctant to express their concerns because of cultural beliefs related to the authoritative position of the teacher. Parents may also be unsure of how to express their concerns to the teachers. Research shows that parents provide a passionate feeling that is highly personalized and comes with a history and a future. During a power struggle between a parent and a child, you will see emotions seldom seen by two people.
Although politicians claim that the public demands tough policies, moral panics tend to dissipate when the crisis passes. Many around the country would argue because of more serious crimes committed by adults has fashioned an umbrella on the juvenile system which imposes robust crimes for the juvenile themselves. Now when a juvenile has committed a crime, the next step is the procedures of handling the juvenile physically and mental status. Following the arrest of a juvenile offender, a law enforcement officer has the discretion to release the juvenile to his or her parents, or take the offender to juvenile
Barriers come in many forms, such as when key persons are doing observations and planning. The parents may lack in confidence to give any suggestions or feel that their contribution isn’t worth making at all; they may also not want to get involved in this. However practitioner should let the parents of the child take charge on the suggestion making, instead of the practitioners taking charge. This allows the parents to feel valued and respect being given such an important role, building the parents confidence as their suggestions have be taken into
The difference between the numbers of criminals who reoffended considering the length of their time in jail is 7.2%. These numbers are so small, that instead of justifying the prison system, it works against it. There are other arguments against jails. Jails are expensive, since they support a large number of socially incapable individuals for many years. Furthermore, far too many institutions are overcrowded.
