Free Will against Fate Present day, everywhere you look you hear people saying that they believe in this and that. Let’s just say that the world is just full of beliefs. These days, there are certain beliefs that are reminded of a lot. In this case, two beliefs we hear of a lot are free will and fate. Today, some people believe in fate while I believe that free will should be the document belief of our time. Free will is mentioned in many discussions which fall under many categories. Back then and still today, there are many heated discussions concerning religion in which free will and fate are often spoken of. Many people have heard the saying, “God has plans for your future”. This statement is a good example of fate. I do believe in this. But it is also said that your actions are what determine your future. In other words, God has panned your future, but ability to change your own future is still in your hands. What you do and decide right now will determine your future, whether it will be the way God planned it to be or not. Next, free will is seen in many things we encounter each day in our lives. Today, it is very common among youth and teens to experience something life changing that we call love or meeting your significant other. In this situation, free will always plays a big role. You have full control over your behavior and appearance. You can make yourself seem ugly and bad or good looking and nice. The way you act can either increase or decrease the time it takes you to meet your significant other. On the other hand, if you believe in fate, what are you going to do? Sit and wait until your significant other comes along looking for you? Today, free will is used everywhere and by everyone to gain something or to achieve something.
