"The Hearth and The Salamander" In the novel “Fahrenheit 451” by Ray Bradbury, Guy Montag is a fireman in a society where many books are illegal. His job is to burn the books and the place housing them if reported or suspected. After work one night, he comes in contact with his neighbor that he’s never met before named Clarisse McClellan. She makes him second guess his happiness and life overall. When Montag gets to his house he discovers that his wife named Mildred took the whole bottle of sleeping pills and calls 911.
For Antigone and Creon these consequences were very extreme. Antigone in reality killed her sister and fiancé by deciding to berry her dead brother, even though everyone around her begged her not to. By choosing to berry her brother she forced her uncle to not only kill her but everyone around her who she loved. She became so lonely when she was forced into captivity that she killed herself. All this because of one decision she made to berry her brother caused her life to fall apart and everyone she loved to disappear.
The woman, refusing, lit her house along with herself on fire. Montag felt sick for a few days afterward, trying to understand why somebody would value books over their own life. That is why when I read the article about a 16 year old boy who had killed his mother, had a party and sold items from the house, I was in total disbelief. This behavior is totally unacceptable. The boy, whose name is Kitt, and his 3 year old brother were both in the home when the murder had taken place. According to relatives who lived nearby, Kitt had been upset because his mother had sent him off to boot camp weeks prior.

In the novel, Montag made Mildred friends cry. After he made her friends cry from telling them the truth they all left hurt. However, in the movie John almost killed a man because he thought the man killed his son. John felt bad at the end, because he was not looking at his son’s killer. Even though, he didn’t kill the man, he still hurt him physically and emotionally.
The following day, Tybalt killed Mercutio in a battle between the two. The death of Mercutio infuriated Romeo to such an extent that he killed Tybalt with his bare hands and sword. The prince had found out about Romeo’s actions and decided to punish Romeo by banishing him from the town. Moments after Romeo and Juliet had first met, they found out about the true identity if each other. It broke their hearts to know that their families were enemies who loathed each other and their chances of being married were little.
An example of why i felt the way i did is when Gatsby is in the passenger seat, and Daisy runs over Tom’s secrect lover, Myrtle, killing her.
