The artwork of John Adams has great balance, noticeable effects, and incredible symbols. John Copley constructed an image that was equal, but it had uneven sides, thus creating an asymmetrical balance. It seems that Copley probably use oil paint which applies a glossier effect to the image. Because of the color variety and the highlight, it seems that he emphasized more on the left side than on the right. His decision to use more dark colors than light creates a softer image with a calmer feeling.
The average number of time the termites spent on the red ink pen circle was much greater than the amount of time the termites spent on the red ink sharpie marker circle. It can be concluded that termites would rather stay on the red pen circle than on the red sharpie ink circle. Reasons why the termites spent a lower average amount of time on the circle drawn in red sharpie ink can be based on many factors. One of them being that the chemical make-up of the red ink in sharpie markers does not agree with the termites. Another factor may include that the scent of sharpie marker was too strong for the termites to endure.

It is constantly changing much like the natural landscapes of earth. I can be at home and walk out in my front yard to see a flower bud starting to open, camera in hand, and take a few photos of it every day. When I look back over my past 20 years of nursing, I realize that I have touched the lives of many different people. I am humbled both by how my life has impacted others’, and how theirs have mine. These experiences have shaped me into who I am today, not only as a nurse but also as a person Choice of Nursing I was first introduced to nursing when I became a Candy-Striper at St. Paul’s Hospital. I was so excited the first day I put on my red and white striped uniform and was sent off to deliver flowers to patients’ rooms. It felt good to go into a patient’s room, introduce myself, tidy their bedside table and arrange their flowers.

There are various symbols in the play which represents the feelings and moods through out the play. One main symbol which re occurs through out the play is the rose. The rose appears in different scenes giving a meaning which is the ability to survive and grow, giving us beauty. As I read the play and observed the use of the symbol, I found the use of the rose was a beautiful symbol as it represented hope of beauty in the future. An example of the rose appearing is when Hamid returns home and begins to pull the roses out from the garden, but then is stopped by Amir.
