In the story, Ross specifically tells their son, Kevin that he should try not to marry beneath himself because he will end up stuck in the same situation as him.
She is always suspicious whenever he doesn’t answer her calls. She becomes especially crazed when she calls him while she is high. She becomes very paranoid and is always ranting about how he is probably off sleeping another girl and that he never cared about her. She still seems to think she can control it and when she goes to her brother’s baseball game her mother notices and tells her she should leave immediately and to not come back unless she shapes up. Juliet’s parents were both disappointed in her and threatening to disown her because she refused to marry Count Paris. When she confronted the Nurse for help and advice, the Nurse told her that she should break the law and marry a second man. More than that, she wasn’t concerned with Juliet’s true feelings but rather with the fact that she may lose her job if Juliet continues to refuse. Bundy’s first girlfriend and true love broke up with him because she didn’t think that his live was going anywhere and he became very depressed. Bundy accepted this expectation of himself which led him to stop going to classes, drop out, and begin a horrific murder spree to help gain back his confidence. This criminological theory also says that when social bonds or relationships start going down the drain then violent behavior or deviance can begin to take place. As mentioned earlier, Bundy had a very interesting family situation that contributed to his behaviors. He was told that his grandparents were his parents and that his actual mother was his sister.
