The Beatles, Elvis, Smokey Robinson and Jimi Hendrix were taking over the radio’s and the Aussies couldn’t get enough of these rock stars. This type of music was aimed at teenagers and young adults and opened the eyes of many teenagers around Australia. When the Barbie doll was released in America and was going to be brought over here they said in the add on TV about how many people are buying them in America making them an instant hit because the Americans like it. Beetle-mania developed an almost cult-like following, and the band, consisting of four all-male members reached world-shattering popularity. The artists were Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, John Lennon, and George Harrison. Their music was largely considered a positive influence, and the performers had a clean-cut image. They began their career playing British pubs, and by 1960 had been discovered by Brian Epstein, who became their manager. Their producer, George Martin helped Brian Espstein push this group, dubbed the “Fab Four” toward international stardom by 1964.

As someone who understands both the simplicity and the complexity of music, I am very opinionated as to what makes music “good” or in better words, worth listening to. Everyone knew and appreciated the works they composed, and a great number of people still find the time to appreciate it.
