The patient’s information should only be disclosed where necessary, such as if there is reason to believe they are at risk of harm or somebody else in their care is at risk and then only should it be disclosed to the suitable professional. Each individual has right to confidentiality. ‘Collaborate with those in your care’ communication is a key point in listening and responding to the person’s requirements, preferences and concerns. Also ensuring they can maintain their heath and care for themselves. ‘Consent’ each person has rights to agree to or decline so confirming consent is important to initiate care and treatment.
An adult patient, who has mental capacity, can give or withhold consent to a medical treatment for any reason, either rational, irrational or non-existent, or no reason at all. However, there are cases in which competent adult patients have withheld their consent to medical treatment and yet doctors and judges have overruled the patient’s refusal to treatment because of the decision and behaviour of they make which may be called ‘irrational.’ This challenges the primacy of autonomy of the patient and suggests that there may be other ethical principles ‘at work’ behind the veil of patient autonomy. I would argue that behind the deontological façade of autonomy rest two types of conflict: internal and external. Internal conflicts relates to the implicit tensions on how we define autonomy. In exercising an irrational decision, the courts may overrule it as not autonomous.
You will also need to have some knowledge of the choices in the future management of the patient's condition. • It is helpful to mentally rehearse the interview, the likely questions you will be asked, the patient's emotional and potential responses. • While it is important to remember that the bad news may be very sad for the patient, the information that you will be giving will be important in allowing him/her to plan for the future. • It is strongly recommended that a colleague such as the patient's named nurse or specialist nurse accompanies you. This individual may remain with the patient if appropriate and help provide continuing support to the patient.
I would follow up on these concerns on any subsequent visits to ensure concerns have been acted upon and hopefully resolved. 2.1 It would be dependant on whether the individual was able to make the decision, so the duty of care may well conflict with potential requests. If a service user was seriously unwell, it would be my duty of care to contact medical help whether the person wanted it or not. It would in this case ‘better to be safe than sorry’ and I would take the decision to act in place of the persons individual right to refuse such help. 2.2 Resolving these dilemmas could include gentle persuasion with the service user.

Also, if I had believed him, I would have taken the wrong decision of not studying for the GMAT. Second, identifying what people want helps them to making clearer their objectives. Sometimes, people are not sure what they want, so they act without a specific orientation. Therefore, this lack of direction makes inefficient their efforts and actions. However, if we find out what people want and help them to identify it also, they will be more effective and efficient in reaching their goals.
You may think that after doing something they don’t completely agree with could cause them not to love you or love you less, when in actuality they are not always going to agree with you but will not love you any less. A parent’s love is a kind of love that will always be there when you need it. A parent’s love is and will always be unconditional. Secondly, there is the love you have for a spouse or boyfriend/girlfriend. Although this is a special kind of love, it is often easily discarded.
In my opinion, thinking before telling a lie is the right thing to do then just saying it. Firstly, people tell a lie when they don’t want to neglect people’s kindness and thoughtfulness. For Instance, when your friend’s gift for your birthday or Christmas doesn’t fit your style, you will thank them anyways for their kindness to make them happy. It is wrong to tell your friend a lie but in another way you should tell the truth on what you really thought. But in this case it could be acceptable because you don’t want to cause any hard feelings.
