it was a dark, cloudy night. the moon was partly blocked out by distant clouds, which created a gastly glow on the local suroundings. all was silent. apart from the odd tweet of a bird setling down for the night. all was peaceful. until a sparp sound ripped through the french countryside. suddenly a shell from the tailiban artillery exsploded next to me about 10ft away. " get to the bunkers!" i screamed as more shells impacted heartaling bloody carcouses across the field. i ran for my life as shells exsploded everywhere. i jumped over the sand bag wall and sprinted to the steel renforced concret bunker which ran a system of tunnels under local village. " ok thanks pvt." i called back as i ran to the bunker through the under grownd tunnels which were poorly constructed in the mad rush, to prepear for the sudden loss of ground to these mercyless scum. i was half way their when a sheel hit the ground above causing the tunnle to shake under the force. soil begain to seep through the deep cracks forming in the colapsing roof. i picked up speed and made it to the bunker just as the tunnel colasped in on its self blocking the way back. as i entered the bunker i was shocked to see it was in disaray as poeple were evacuating through the only escape route. more soil was seeping through the roof. i picked up a L-98 and ran out of the bunker! as we reached the exit the bombardment suddenly stopped. whats going on i thought? i got my answer as out of the shattered trees and hedgerow in the distance. men shot up and started killing of the taskforce. they were cowards picking of the wounded and the medics. i cocked my rifle and shot endless men one man i shot in the head. unfortunatly he manged to fire a round into a woundeds head shattering his skull. dam i thought as he died and his corps hit the
