If parents are paying the exceeded taxes. There is a sufficient amount of money for public schooling especially with a big population in the city. By threatening the public educational system with budget cuts, this is just a way to deteriorate the quality of learning. Getting rid of teachers is not a intelligent way of saving money. The Board of Education wants the best for students by closing schools, a lot can’t be accomplished by establishing closures across the country.
The Union is supposed to help the economy, not take away businesses that will help it. Efforts made by the Union to keep Hostess and get a better pay and benefits for the workers were too expensive and not very reasonable. I think they should have tried to work out a better plan instead of making it practically impossible for Hostess to agree. Because Hostess went out of business, it will affect not only the lives of more than 18,500 workers, but it will also hurt the economy of the United
The importance of revenue is that tells you how much money overall is coming into the business and subtracting the costs you can see what your overall profit is. An increase in revenue could also lead to more investments back into the business, for example by staff training, extending a department etc. A decrease in revenue will mean a decrease in profit, and probably having to cut budgets. If Shafal doesn’t cover her expensive her business shut down. The way revenue helps the business is a by money coming in from different areas such as rent.
Government intervention into the media is a hot topic these days, filled with controversy and blame. Every group is pointing the finger at another group. Parents are blaming the government for not helping, government is blaming the media for not censoring material, and others are blaming the parents for not censoring and protecting their children. Our society is getting nowhere. there is no solid proof that the media causes violence, and although parents do a lot to help and protect their children, there are still some steps that can be taken to protect their children against violent and sexual material.
I wonder what percentage of those students who didn’t get accepted withdrew the opportunity themselves because they couldn’t afford it once they got accepted. There can be so many reason why the school doesn’t accept 10K students a semester; by the way who wants to learn with another 1,000 students in the classroom. Beres doesn’t take the time to elaborate on different factors that come with college admission but instead attacks the College Board for no apparent reason. He has a valid claim that yes students’ needs to be given the chance, but lacks the supporting warrants he could have made. Instead of bashing the College Board about the common app he could have made a valid case by questioning the rising of college tuition which is a main factor that students aren’t

In “Idiot Nation” Michael Moore persuasively argues that policy makers of America do not pay enough attention to schooling systems through the use of rhetorical devices, supporting detail and persuasive appeals. Michael Moore uses anecdotes, irony and pathos in order to persuade the reader into believing that the policy makers do not care enough
Mainly, people who have suffered the loss of a loved one in those events are asking that there be school safety and the gun control law passed. For the reasons that they don’t want those events to take place again and have the reminder and thought of another family losing someone. Then there are the others who think that it is too much money spent and schools can’t afford the hiring of student resource officers along with them opposing the gun control law being passed. By which they oppose the gun control law because they spend their spare time out hunting or in a range. All of this has been a controversy in our nation and will continue because we all have different perspective on this topic.
Summary: In this article, the reader is informed about how provisional ballots might delay results in close races of the presidential election for days. The reason behind the delays is the new ID laws that are still being challenged in court. The law mandates voters to show identification at the polls this fall. This causes a problem for many people, especially senior citizens. Elders, who are home most of the time, don't see the need in carrying ID, thus they don't own any.
don’t you think a couple of minutes you’d spend on a line for metal detecting may save the life of another school mate or even yourself? Sometimes if you really think about it patience is the border between life and death. Have you noticed that the percentage of school shootings have decreased mightily over the years? They have but that does not mean it is not prone to happen again. One thing that I have read in the Daily News was that school shootings are the number one cause of student deaths in the United States and this is very sad.
