However, with the advancement in technology and its wide use, a new type of bullying has developed, cyberbullying, which is when a person uses technology and/or electronic devices to bully another person, typically by sending messages or posting comments of an intimidating or threatening nature. What makes cyber-bullying much more dangerous than regular bullying is that because if it on the internet, it will stay there for a long time and for everyone to see. There are many different acts such as murder, arson, robbery, larceny, motor vehicle theft and burglary. Crime also consists of acts threatening a nation ,practical jokes such as falsely reporting a bomb threat or hate crimes be it religious, gender or racial. These are also described as negatively affected stereotype groups. I believe excessive use of social media is more dangerous for young adults because the part of the brain that does the decision making is still growing and developing. Since our brains are placid they can be misused and can grow in unhealthy ways, this includes the excessive use of social media. I agree with the article that social media can cause loss of creativity because it is easy to copy someone else’s photos or style. Teens don’t have to be creative when they can look up anything they want. The problem with social media that was not mentioned in the article was the companies producing the social media.
