The disadvantages are that not all households have Internet access, if the survey is sent via email, it may be considered junk mail. Also, some people just fill out the surveys to get the promotional offer and will just fill out anything. The disadvantages in not being able to reach as many individuals due to lack of internet or lack of email accessibility, provides major negative impacts for research.
I believe this to be true because they offer some of the newest technology in their store and it is place where people can actually interact with salespeople in real life. So much is lost in the digital age when someone can purchase something with a few clicks of a mouse. That being said I believe that Best Buy must focus a little more on their online sales to avoid being overtaken by sites like Amazon and Ebay. There are many people who argue about Google having good or bad benefits, but it seems that many people utilize Google to expand their knowledge, and find information through World Wide Web, on the other hand, it seems that Google is negatively shaping the way we are processing and interpreting information. There is no doubt that Internet has considerable benefits to society. Back into old days, people would spend their day and night searching for one thing, whereas nowadays, people can efficiently find the information they seek. With just getting help from to Google to search, they can collect a lot of information. Google has become a lifesaver to many people because they get their answers by just searching a word, but they are unaware that many hyperlinks are distracting their mind and wasting their time.
Having an online website is great advantage as It allows customers to shop at all hours and have access to purchase all products. If for example you go into to buy a product and it is out of stock you have the option to go online and still get what you need. Additionally, the option to shop online addresses the various different customer demographics, such as individuals who are disabled, as online shopping could make shopping for groceries and other necessities a lot easier for such individuals. Therefore it is evident that technological factors have increased customer satisfaction by providing customers with an alternate shopping method. The time of shopping at stores is limited and depends on shoppers because they can just go shopping when they have free time, but shopping online is contrary. The shoppers can buy whenever and wherever they want. They just need to search web and choose items which they like or want, then they send a message to buyer or make a call, and the items will be delivered. It’s really simple and convenient for shoppers. Like me for example, my model job always need many new clothes, and I’m as busy as a bee with my job, so I don’t have any free time to go shopping, but I still buy new clothes since there is the shopping online service.
