Anybody can have a pack of this drug anytime, anywhere. Since this is very alarming, the need for an effective Nevada drug and alcohol rehab facility should be the agenda. The sooner crack users are treated, the better are their chances of recovering. One of the most apparent drug threats Nevada is exposed at is heroin.
The huge black market for alcohol controlled by crime organizations grew so large that many of the criminal groups were able to build their empires mainly on profits from illegal alcohol. This in turn made them grow in power and their influence on society increased. Many politicians and law enforcements became corrupt, and turned a blind eye to the illegal activity since they were bribed. Prohibition also led to economic consequences. Before the liquor ban, many states relied on tax revenues, and when Prohibition went into effect, those revenues were lost- causing the United Nations to lose 11 billion

There are three main fatal errors that are constructed into the drug strategy itself, errors that we can see it dooms the strategy at every burn and consequently undermine the efforts made to eliminate the production, distribution and consumption of all of the illegal drugs that can be found in the market. In hindsight we know this is true. Like wise in source B the writer agrees prohibition was bound to fail to an extent when the writer says “ there’s more than 30,000 speakeasies by 1928”. This shows prohibition failed because people were still buying and drinking alcohol. The message in this source is saying what went wrong with prohibition such as gangsters like Dutch Schulz and Al Capone, were Al Capone ran loads of speakeasies and turned the avoidance of prohibition into a big violent business, for example the Saint Valentine Massacre, and overall led to an increase in crime. I think both sources agree with each other, by agreeing that prohibition was bound to fail to an extent.

But unfortunately no one is winning – people are still falling victim to addiction and the government is still wasting money prosecuting and incarcerating victims of such a serious mental illness... Australia’s “war on drugs” is failing so badly that Senator Bob Carr, along with other prominent Australians, has suggested the decriminalisation of low-level drug use. Think about drug addiction for
Riley Bartlett 5/17/11 Every year thousands of underage teens are dying from alcohol related accidents. Around 28% of fatal traffic crashes involving teens are alcohol related. Does the United States keep the drinking age 21, and enforce it strongly or lower the drinking age and teach teenagers to drink in moderation not binge drinking? Even though the Legal drinking age is 21, not everyone believes it should stay that age. Prohibition failed in 1920-1933 which shows that strict regulation of drinking is counterproductive, unenforceable, and leads to an increase in legal underground activity.
