Paulina Czurak The issue of doing sport is very significant because of importance not only for our physical but also mental condition. If you want to keep your mind and body healthy there is no alternative way- you can't dance and it's too wet to plow. People all over the world take advantages from exercising. Active lifestyle is beneficial and sorely tempted for everyone because it teaches us how to compete; prevents us from suffer and injuries in future and makes us keep up with the fashion. It has been argued that doing sports in schools is an cause of brutal competition and rat race in our future life. Young and sensitive beings, so this argument goes, are treated in a different way and as a result humiliated. It is also claimed that team spirit is building an wrong character of receptive to influence students. However, they didn’t take into consideration some simple historic facts: If Mozart had had no need to compete, he would not have written any note. Furthermore, if Einstein had had no need to compete, he would not have published the theory of relativity. In fact, we have to be aware, and it goes without saying, that without competition, the world will be always the same - indigent in evolution. Moreover, saying that team spirit is bad, we choose a soft position, because what testifies to a man is an ability of decorous losing and winning. Indeed, what make sense is competence, not the result. Dina La Vardera contends that all forms of sport claim that physical exercise is bad for one. She argue that doing sport may entail such effects like torn ligaments, crippling of arthritis or heart attacks while jogging. She put forward this idea because she found some instances of heart attack or bone disease.
