Every American citizen knows about their constitution and they are proud of it. The British may be proud of the queen and other aspects of our history, but we have no constitution to identify with. The third argument is the most important. This is the dangerous shift of power towards the prime minister and the government. It is happening because the powers of the prime minister are not well defined and mostly contained in unwritten conventions which are a mystery to most people.

They thought that a government would do all these things but how could they be certain if they didn’t give it a chance? The Federalists, on the other hand, had answers to all of the Anti-Federalist complaints. Among them; the separation of powers into three independent branches protected the rights of the people. Each branch represents a different aspect of the people, and because all three branches are equal, no one group can assume control over another.
The founding father’s were able to give the people a democratic way of electing leaders, while still having the a few of the people making important decisions in the peoples best interest. During the time of the revolution people were sick of the British parliament and felt as though the were not getting a fair and equal share in the decisions pertaining to them. Hence the phrase taxation without representation was coined. When America won the revolution many concerns and issues cropped up with the declaration of independence, it held very small amounts of power. Paying off debuts of the revolution became a choice that most states opted out on because their was no force behind the request.
While assuming JIB to be true, Shelton wages war on the government and by extension those who support it. He views this as a last resort, since he watched all the other non-violent options fail him. Thus this war can be justified. Shelton is justified in his actions because he is redressing a wrong suffered, and his intentions are to rid the corruptness from the judicial system. The people that Shelton killed are considered combatants because they support they governmental system and work with it.
In source 4 we also learn that much must have depended on diplomatic relations with Maximilian and Ferdinand, however Henry’s allies proved unfaithful and unreliable. Source 4, is written by a member of the Government of England. The government is who Henry and Wolsey would go to for Money for these situations. The Government did not like how much Money Henry kept asking for so this could have been reflected in Keith Randall’s report. Henry spent 1.4 millions pounds on fighting wars between 1511-25 and this set England back a far way.
To me and many others the Revolutionary war was very radical. The American Revolution was as radical as any revolution in modern history, for it replaced monarchial authority with representative government and created a society that was far more democratic than even the founding fathers had anticipated (Stories from PA). If there is zero chance of the outcome swaying in your direction then at some points you might as well give up. Living with this philosophy will get you nowhere though, because if you always give up early then you may not know how it could have ended. For example if you simply will not win a court case because there is hard evidence of the defendant being guilty, then it might be acceptable for you to call it quits. This could make sense because, if you could spend your time doing something more productive with your time instead of wasting it on a lost cause. You never know how something will end; you must always wait it out till the end.
America has won nearly every war that we’ve been involved it. Even when we were a nation divided amongst ourselves in the Civil War, the stronger side still prevailed. Americans hate to lose, which is why we are still the dominating country, Tony Blair stated this in the second paragraph of his article. To contradict this statement, I was presented with an article negatively facing America, it said, “China and Japan are rapidly advancing and will soon be so far ahead of the U.S. that we will not be able to catch up”. These statements are both argumentative, but the fact is, you can’t beat America.
