Differences and Similarity’s Between the City of Tampa and the City of Philadelphia

Within every city is a different lifestyle. Depending on the location of the city, you'll find many different types of climates,different types of recreational habits, as well as different types of cultures. Take for instance the City of Tampa and the City of Philadelphia, also known as “Philly”. Both cities experience the madness of a wide population, although the breed of people are vastly different. The climate between both cities are undeniably different, but have some similarities. Even though both cities get all four seasons, it feels as if one receives more then the other. For example, Tampa has a summer and a winter just like Philadelphia. Although Philly has hot and muggy summers, Tampa's summers are typically warmer then most states, which is also humid with frequent thunderstorms. Between the two cities, it shows they have difference in climate. Philadelphia has winters that have been below zero degrees Fahrenheit with snow always being a variable. Whereas Tampa's winters are drier and don't get as cold, nor receives snow like Philadelphia. Since Tampa is off the water, it usually gets hotter there then most areas. Philadelphia is not off the water so there is no need to worry about it getting as hot as Tampa. Due to the humidity of a city, it may sometimes feel as if Tampa and Philly are as hot as each other. Even though the climates differ in so many ways, there are still some similarities. These two cities have differences and similarities in their recreational habits. Some similarities are, both cities have a football stadium and a zoo. Tampa has Lowry Park Zoo and the Raymond James Stadium. Philadelphia has the Lincoln Financial Field and the Philadelphia Zoo. An example of what Tampa has that Philadelphia does not, would be a beach. Philadelphia is in land so there would definitely be no tanning or swimming at a beach. On the
