Her description of the suburbs in Pittsburgh seem less poverty stricken such as with them leaving from houses (paragraph 4) and the clothes that the man that chases them wears(paragraph 10). She attaches no greatness or inadequacy about the homes which makes them just regular homes. She also addresses the man’s clothes that’s chases them as city clothes consisting of a suit and tire, which would stick out in Rodriguez’s autobiography. These two writers, though, don’t differentiate so much about the writing techniques that they employ on the chasing scenes. Dillard uses short choppy sentences as well as Rodriguez when they both want to push the action forward.

English 1101 Final Exit Essay Spring 2007 927163259 Owen brings many obvious and very much true facts to the idea of New York being the greenest city in the United States. He compares New York to Phoenix and Los Angeles County proving that suburbs are not the environmental places we thought they we’re. He goes on to state the fact that New York architecture doesn’t consume unnecessary space unlike areas in Phoenix and Washington. Also they don’t use as much energy as you find in places like Phoenix or Los Angeles. His third point was that New Yorkers depend greatly on their transit system, walking, or getting in a taxi; instead of using the number one killer of humans known as cars.

The town and its profile have changed immensely since it’s beginning, and likewise, so has the perception of the town changed over time. What the Mountain Environment is like? (Weather) The climate is not the same throughout the biome (community) because there are places nearer to the equator than others. The Andes are separated into three natural regions: the southern, central, and northern regions. In the northern region, it is hotter because it is closest to the equator. There are rain forests in this region, due to the more humid, rainy climate.
The sun's light and heat are less concentrated at higher latitudes. In addition, at the equator the sunlight travels straight down through the atmosphere, but near the poles it travels through a thicker layer air where more of the light is reflected, absorbed, or scattered and less reaches the ground. This is why the equator is hot and the poles are cold. Because of the great quantity of heat delivered to the equator it is a zone of warm, rising air. It absorbs much water vapour from the oceans and land vegetation through evaporation.
The Norse had a difficult time, due to the climate. Extremely cold winters, with barely any sunshine and a great rise of temperature during the summer time. This affected the shade of the adventures and myths about the gods. The Greek gods were seen as more cheerful compared to the Norse gods that were slightly gloomy and darker. Many Greek Myths were love stories, such as Venus and Adonis, Cupid and Psyche, though most of these stories didn't end well, if you read them they are much more light and slightly fluffy in contrast to the Norse myths that were mostly about battle and ended with violent deaths like the story of beowulf.
