Deforestation results from the removal of trees without sufficient reforestation (the replacement of trees). As a whole, deforestation reduces biodiversity, which is the variation of life forms, and negatively impacts the climate and geography not only in the United States, but also around the world. Some of the problems that need to be acknowledged range from forest fires to the lack of national policies
Some group members used numbers and facts to make sense and sound credible for their individual roles. The abolishment of the amazon is morally wrong and this applies to ethos because deforestation has many adverse effects to many things. Josh and Kelli used ethos and pathos and talked about how animals and people are affected by deforestation. In the essay the usage of pathos was used when describing the destruction of animal habitats along with the eventual extinction of some of these beautiful
Deforestation is when trees and other vegetation is being removed converting the forest to another land use, this exposed the soil and often leads to erosion and loss of soil fertility. The valuable nutrients of the soil are being washed away by erosion. To prevent this, we need to stop cutting down trees to create so many buildings, business owners should try to find established dwellings to put their business on. Deforestation also poses a threat to the food chain. These three major causes of soil erosion can be prevented and it will benefit everyone as a whole by creating a sustainable society for our environment.
It also have some very harmful effects on humans and nature. It creates large amount of pollution, destroys the nature and also increases the diseases in human societies. As in documentary about “The Ethics of Fracking” by Marleen troy PhD (Environmental Engineer), Bernard Prausak and Rabbi Mordechai Liebling.
2. Provide one action we as humans engage in that leads to the extinction of each of these components. Action affecting Lichens = Lichens need nutrients from the air and water to grow, but humans pollute water with chemicals and air with smoke which can effects there growth. Action affecting Trees = Humans are cutting down trees which is leading them to extinction. Action affecting Flowers = Humans are destroying flowers and plants by destroying the land their on by building buildings and growing crops.
The mountain pine beetle epidemic is causing environmental and social impacts to much of British Columbia. Our forests are very important and will no longer be able to maintain their role if changes are not made. The devastation has had a sweeping impact on B.C.’s ecological, and economical well-being. Additionally, recent studies are drawing attention to the carbon-emitting properties of the dead forests, which is a global concern. A popular misconception developed that the current provincial mountain pine beetle epidemic began in Tweedsmuir Provincial Park.
The conditions can even result in complete destruction of the plants therefore incurring significant losses. Natural disasters like fire n floods can also destroy the plants hence reducing Bolthouse Farms revenue. Unrest among employees and the changing technology is also a threat facing Bolthouse farms. Price changes and money value as well is a threat to Bolthouse
A decision needs to be made on what is morally correct, not just on what is preferred by the person making the decision. An example of a moral dilemma is the current issue of deforestation, which is causing the destruction of the environment. Steve Greenberg’s cartoon, “On A Clearcut Day, You Can See Forever”, portrays these growing effects
People excrete wastes and litter that flow into water systems, and animal habitats, this is slowly polluting water and killing wildlife. And the more the population grows the more wasted were going to produce and cause pollution and damage to the environment. More housing and buildings being built means that were building over were habitats live, the loss of these forests leads to extinction of plants and animals. Also more people means that more goods (like clothes, TVs etc) are wanted, more jobs are needed so more factories are being built witch is affecting out air pollution, which eventually is destroying out atmosphere. Also more food is required so more intensive farming methods are used.
Introduction: Organisms can have a positive or negative effect on the environment through its interrelated interactions. For example, humans have had a largely negative effect on environments through deforestation and air and water pollution. Through deforestation (a direct action) right here on the Kennesaw State University Campus, the communities within the forest has been wiped out. The organisms in that community have been forced to either flee or face death. Temperature is considered to be an extremely important abiotic factor due to the fact that it is the driving factor behind a variety of chemical reactions, which are necessary for some biological functions.
