Christianity: The One True Religion Christianity is the one true religion. You’re probably thinking, “Well, how do you know that?” I know this because the bible says so, in many places. One example of that is in Romans, chapter six. “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” This is saying that if we sin, and don’t ask God for forgiveness, the penalty is, and always will be, death. Also John chapter ten says, “I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved.” This is saying that if you believe in God, put all your faith in Him, you will be saved.
Scriptures: John 1:12: Yet to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His name, he gave the right to become children of God. Rom.10:9: If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Eph. 2:8: For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God. Advantages of Using This Method – The Four Spiritual Laws method has advantages in that it uses a biblically base reference point.
Jesus was crucified; he died on the cross for our sins and was resurrected, enabling us to be saved from sin. This is a major part of the concept of Salvation and is demonstrated in John 3:17: “For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” Jesus’ death gives Catholics an opportunity to experience eternal life in Heaven with God. Salvation is a doctrine that is often mentioned throughout the Bible in both the Old and New Testament. This core belief is first revealed in the Bible in Book one, demonstrating its importance to Christian life. In the Old Testament, Genesis 49: 18 states, “I look for your deliverance, Lord,” and in the New Testament, Acts 4:12 states, “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” There are 3 main sacraments that ensure Salvation.
For if the inheritance comes from the law, it no longer comes from the promise; but God granted it to Abraham through the promise2 With the new covenant formed by the coming and death of Jesus, Gentiles are now allowed to be saved and be justified just as the Jews were. In verse 21 and following we see a more sarcastic side of Paul. He asks his audience if the law is opposed to God’s promises. He says
Redemption: The death and shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ that has bought the believer back from sin. In conclusion, if we learn one thing from the study of these parts it should be that the born again Christian is eternally secure in Jesus Christ. Everything God requires a person to be (righteous, holy, sinless, perfect, etc.) He supplies in the Lord Jesus
28:19-20; Acts 2:41-42). (4) One is saved by faith in the gospel of Christ in the context of baptism. “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved” (Mark 16:15-16a; cf. Acts 2:38, 41, with v. 47).
The Noahic Covenant made at Mount Ararat is a result of God regretting his creation and sending a flood, and is within the context of His favouring Noah and relenting of his anger to save Noah and part of his creation through ordering him to build an ark. The flood destroyed many creatures, leaving only the ones saved by Noah. God makes this Covenant between Himself and Noah, and Noah’s offspring (Gn. 9:9) and all the creatures that were saved in the ark. God states that as long as the Jewish people follow his laws and worship him, he will never again send a flood to Earth.
I. SERMON ON THE MOUNT: CORE VALUES OF THE KINGDOM A. The Sermon on the Mount is the constitution of God’s kingdom. It is Jesus’ most comprehensive statement on a believer’s role in cooperating with the grace of God and is the “litmus test” to measure our spiritual development and ministry impact. In this sermon, Jesus calls His people to perfect obedience and to make this their primary goal in life. We do this by seeking to walk in all the light that the Spirit gives us.
The crime on his death to pay a ransom, save all who believe in him, and will also be raised, with god, has eternal life. He is the savior of mankind.
