Organizing is the foundation for thriving businesses. For any potential successful business, competition provides employers with the necessary tools to become a better business to better serve its customers. The members pay top dollar to be apart of our business. So, our costumer service is what determines the perseverance of our business. Therefore, a big part of business is accepting all people who are willing to pay for our services.
Abusing the privilege of having high authority is one power dynamic people use. Most leaders use this power dynamic, because they believe the law is in their hands and they are above it. This is catastrophically wrong, because society needs to have trust in authority, but if they cannot have that trust, then the system will have no use for anything. The essays “Talking Back, by Bell Hooks; Resistance to Civil Government, by Henry David Thoreau; and Aint I a Woman, by Sojourner Truth” all address the troubles such power dynamics like the abuse of authority -had an impact on their lives. The tyranny civilians felt was surreal.
A society without laws would be a corrupt chaotic society that would put people in a state of crisis because people would be murdered for possessions they own, fundamental beliefs of how people preserve what’s right from wrong in a society would not be the same as a normal society, and a balance between individual rights and public order would not be a basis part of a society. In this society without a government people would not be prosperous and seek new ways to live as a group. The basis for money would not be the same as with a government and would result in different forms of exchange. Education would not be the same because that is part of a unifying government trying to educate its society, for which a society without laws and government would not unify in such a matter. Care for others such as medical treatment would not have the same basis as a normal society because of how people perceive the responsibility of others in a aspect of individual care.
The Union is supposed to help the economy, not take away businesses that will help it. Efforts made by the Union to keep Hostess and get a better pay and benefits for the workers were too expensive and not very reasonable. I think they should have tried to work out a better plan instead of making it practically impossible for Hostess to agree. Because Hostess went out of business, it will affect not only the lives of more than 18,500 workers, but it will also hurt the economy of the United
Dillard’s can’t afford any negative publicity regarding such issues. Dillard’s has to be aware of the potential devastation of laws suite involving discrimination of any type. There should be a training program set up for employees in order to educate and avoid potential litigation. Foreign trade can be a very risky business. Among all the risks involved with international trade, the political ones are more difficult to measure.
The trust felt that the lack of diversification and investment into one in industry was too risky. The communities view came from a more stakeholder value and everyone involved in the community. 2. Assume that you are a member of the Hershey Trust board. To whom (or what) do you owe your fiduciary responsibility?
Although it involved many positive aspects, it was strongly rejected by America, both the government and the citizens. The Congress found it to be an attachment of war for our countries, spend more money and slowly destroy our economy, and it pulled us into European affairs. This war without country seemed at that time very dim. Coming out of a war and feeling unstoppable, maybe Wilson was only wise enough to see that war is not something to be used unless absolutely needed. To protect the right of mankind, and lives of American and allied lives.
Some people think that by accepting the bill they will have to let everyone in, other citizens believe it is unfair for them; they believe they will take most jobs and in some cases take away a citizen’s job. Another factor why people oppose to it is because they believe that undocumented people do not pay their taxes. Another con would be that more people would be inspired to cross to the United States. There are many contradictory statements that make the bill seem like its benefiting undocumented students without anything in return, when in reality it would help
Some of the cons of it would be if the United States went universal we would lose out on a lot of companies. Which I think is kind of selfish if you ask me. They are so scared that the government will be in charge. They feel like the government will have say so over everything. Medicare/Medicaid and Social Security are run by the government.
