Every year, approximately 1,021,884 immigrants enter the United States. These immigrants came from all walks of life, all over the world to the United States. This is what makes the United States what it is today; the most diverse country in the world. One of the many races that migrated to the United States is the Vietnamese race.
This is Mission San Luis Rey. The real name is Mission San Luis Rey de Francia. San Luis Rey de Francia is Spanish for Saint Louis, King of France. Mission San Luis Rey de Francia was named after the French King Louis IX, who lived in the 1200’s. Louis IX led two crusades to spread catholic religion to other countries.

The total construction cost of panama canal was US$375,000,000. Okay now this is my personal favorite thing to talk about its called a pollera which is a Panamanian dress. The characteristics of a Pollera is the gown, the skirt, and the petticoat, they use two different kinds of fabrics.

I am from a small farming community in southern Indiana, Ellettsville. Ellettsville is located 50 miles south of the state capitol, Indianapolis, and 8 miles West of Indiana University. Ellettsville was founded by limestone merchants in 1837; Edward Ellett was the very first limestone merchant to become established. Due to this heritage the town motto is “Builders of American History”, due to the amount of limestone that has been shipped from the town all over the United States used in many structures. In the 2010 census, the population of Ellettsville was 6378.
The Xi, or more popularly known as the Olmec were one of the first civilizations in Mesoamerica. The Olmec city that had the biggest population was called La Venta. It was located on a small dome on the Gulf Coast, three miles from current day San Andres. From around 1200 BC to 600 BC they had the largest population of any other society. According to this article there is evidence that suggests, contrary to previous beliefs, that the Olmec may have been the influence for the following early American civilizations.

That opened the Asian nation to western trade and influenced after more than 250 years of “isolation” under Tokugawa shogunate. With the arrival of Commodore Perry, the “Black Ships” started a chain of economic, political and social crises. After 160 years of the arrival of Perry, these maybe some things you may not know about Tokyo. First, Tokyo began as a village known as Edo.
They both used stone and mud bricks as the predominant building material. Ancient Egyptian houses were made out of mud collected from the Nile River. It was placed in molds and left to dry in the hot sun to harden for use in construction. There is consensus among historians and Egyptologists that the ancient Egyptians were the first builders ever known to man; they taught humanity how to design and erect buildings; thus laying grounds for human civilization, urbanization and man's settlement in a specific homeland of his own for the first time in history. Cities were built in cultivation land near the Nile River so the natural flooding would water their crops, and bring with it natural minerals needed by the crops.

In 1995 CEMEX acquired a cement company in the Dominican Republic, and with the purchase of a majority stake in a Colombian cement company in 1996, CEMEX became the third largest cement company in the world.
