Contact lenses VS Eyeglasses Eyes are what we call the windows of the heart. They allow us to see and understand many wonderful things in this world. Nowadays, even though people are having problems with their eyesight, there are several choices, which are contact lenses, and eyeglasses, that can help them to have better vision. However, contact lenses, and eyeglasses are completely different in several major ways, including users’ convenience, quality, and safety. First of all, contact lenses and eyeglasses are different in terms of users’ convenience. Using contact lenses is more complicated compared to using eyeglasses as the way of wearing is totally different. Wearing contact lenses might be hard for you since you have to apply them directly on your eyes, and you also have to follow the steps of wearing contact lenses. For example, you have to make sure that your hands are clean, and be sure that you rinse your contact lenses with the solution before wearing them. Also, you need to insert the lens by using the forefinger on your opposite hand, and holding up your upper eyelid to prevent you from blinking. Then you have to use the third finger on the hand in which you have the contact lens to hold down your lower eyelid. After that, you need to look up and place the contact lens onto the white of your eye and look downwards to allow the lens to slip into position. Then you can remove your fingers and close your eye momentarily. And if you feel uncomfortable after wearing contact lenses, you have to remove them, and do all these processes over again. Therefore, if you are not used to wearing them, it might waste your time. Unlike eyeglasses, you can simply wear them without having any physical contacts with your eyes. All you have to do is to put the legs of eyeglasses on your ears, and make sure that the hinge is right on your nose, so you do not need to worry
