Now we can compare Japan’s chart of cotton yarn (Document 2) with India’s cloth textiles. (Document 2) shows that Japan is quickly entering the textile marker by its great increase in pounds of yarn made. This is due to the increased use of machines in Japanese textile making. An additional document would be useful by separating Document 2 in to two documents one being Hand spun yarn and the other being machine spun. It would be easier to compare and accurately account the increase of mechanization in japan’s textile industry.
The government could not control all these invasions, so this was another component that helped the fall of the Roman Empire. Document 5 shows bias because it blames the fall of the civilization on internal decay. This is significant because if a very well organized government that had been able to keep order throughout such a large empire could no longer do it, then this meant nobody else could. All of these political
Haiti in the other hand, was not prepared for their earthwuake and they didn’t now expect an outbreak after. Haiti’s earthquake was big but not as big as Japan’s earthquake. Japan had a tsunami nuclear crissis, but they didn’t have an outbreak like Haiti. Both countries received horrible damage and the death toll in both countries were very high. In both places there were atleast millions of people who were homeless and some people were missing afterwards.
This could be due to the size of the city, as the population in London is huge and therefore the results are varied. Furthermore, because these two cities are very similar it could be said that there is a North/South divide, with the south being more beneficial because the government is there, which means that they are more likely to receive regeneration sooner. They are more likely to receive it sooner because they are closer to the capital, and this would result in more tourists coming to
This shows that even though the USA is coping better they are finding it harder to cope with the impact of economic losses. In the USA most houses, offices roads and bridges have been built to resist earthquakes and emergency services
The ‘better’ choice, if you can call it that, was to drop the atomic bomb because is caused fewer deaths than invading the Japanese main land. It is very unfortunate that many Japanese citizens died in order for the Japanese government to surrender, but it was done with a greater good in mind. The greater good that was done here was saving lives, the atomic bombs caused over a quarter million deaths while an invasion would have amounted to over one million Japanese and American lives. The dropping of the Atomic Bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki was necessary because it saved more lives then the bombs took, and it also brought a more needed end to a bloody and costly
This then meant better employment and better work. The extent of Britain's growth in democracy was also due to economic change. This meant better pay at work therefore more people could get the vote with a higher wage. Also there was more production which meant more workers and more tax. Both of these points played an important part in the growth of democracy in
and Japan also increased. Japan felt that ". . . the Americans believe they are better than us.
It grew in numbers as well as locations and factories. The growth was a great contributory factor in the Industrial Revolution. It allowed higher wages, allowed better diets, made urban places better, and also brought people together in cultures. The Industrial Revolution impacted America economically, socially, politically, and morally. It has helped us to bring the world to where it is in the present.
But it was not as bad and wild as pop culture portrays it to be. It was a good place to live, people grew from living in the West, new modern technology was developed, and the country was unified through the transcontinental railroad which connected the two different worlds, the East and the West. It was after all more civilized then than it is now, there in fact less crime than there is now. Without the West we would not have the great country that we have today. Sure there was discord in the West, at times it probably was a place of discord and I am sure that the people who lived there thought the same as well.
