Dalia Antwan Ms. Hare English-1180 March 20, 2012 Coffee Chocolate Cake The coffee chocolate cake is a good idea to make when you have friends come over for a brunch. After you try the recipe for that delicious cake; you will love it. I bet you. You will call your friends and invite them over for cake. The cake is easy to make but it needs some time. There are three steps to make the cake: ingredients, mixing and decorate it. There are two types of ingredients. The first type is mixing ingredients are: 2 tablespoons ready coffee, 1 cup hot water, 1 cup yogurt, ½ cup corn oil, 2 cups fine sugar, 2 large eggs, 1 teaspoon liquid vanilla, 2 cups flour, 2 teaspoons bicarbonate of soda, ½ teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon baking powder and ¾ cup dark cocoa powder. The second type of ingredients for the cake are the coffee cream: 1 cup margarine, 1 teaspoon liquid vanilla, 4 and ½ cups of fine powder sugar, 4 tablespoons milk, ¾ cup dark cocoa powder, 2 tablespoons ready coffee, ¼ cup hot water and melted white chocolate for decoration. The next step is preparing and mixing the ingredients. First preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Put the rack in the center of the oven. Second bring two 9-inch templates. Put a piece of non stick paper at the bottom of templates. Then pour a little bit of flour to cover the edges of templates. Next, in a small bowl add the coffee and hot water then leave it aside. Use the blender, and add the yogurt, milk, oil, sugar, eggs, vanilla, flour, bicarbonate of soda, salt, baking powder and dark cocoa powder. Start the blender at medium speed to mix the ingredients. After starting the blender, add the coffee and the hot water mixture to the rest of ingredients. Leave the blender for 3 minutes or until you see all the ingredients mix together. Don’t over mix it. Finally put the mixture equally in to the templates. Put the cake in oven for 30 to 35
