Leadership Style Paper Angel Newcomb HCS/475 January 26, 2015 Angie Barr Leadership Style Paper George Smith Patton Jr. General George Smith Patton Jr. is one of many historical figures that have been considered to be a great leader. This week after reading about leadership theories and styles I would have to say the George Patton had used several different leadership styles that had enabled him to becoming a well rounded leader in history. George Patton had traits and styles that touched on behavioral, contingency, traits, and contemporary theories. Although George Patton was unorthodox, he was an audacious, inspiring, and brilliant leader. I also discussed who he is, what he did to become such a great leader, when did they became a leader, where leadership characteristics were shown, and why he is a leader. She cared about him and believed of what he was capable to do in his life so much that even followed him to West Point when he was a cadet, and lived there so she could be close to him. The main influence in MacArthur’s life was the military academy West Point. He lived his life by the West Point values of duty and honor, which shaped his personality and who he became. General Douglas MacArthur was one of America’s most powerful leaders in history. His fantastic strategies combined with his skills of being a great general helped many of the outcomes of the American conflicts in his time and many of the victories may not have been received if it was for MacArthur.
As is the case with many civilizations, where this has occurred, much of the detail has to be questioned. The stories and reports from that time do provide a very clear and consistent picture of a people who, over time, developed a very clear and strong set of guiding moral values that were commonly recognized and broadly accepted at all levels within their society. These values helped to define the correct relationships between people and between people and their gods. These standards were developed in the early days and then passed down, generation after generation, as Rome evolved from a small collection of mud huts into the leading civilization of its time, dominating much of the developed world at that time. Central to this value system were the unique Roman concepts of Virtus (Virtue), Fides (Faithfulness) and Respect.

He continued to stabilize it, where he enforced reforms such as lengthening the term of legionaries to 25 years and imposing stricter punishments, Suetonius states that ‘Tiberius imposed the severest discipline on his men: reviving obsolete methods of punishment or branding them the ignominy for misbehaviors’. His history has become a part of America’s history. Dwight D. Eisenhower will live on in history as long as the world values its freedom fighters and great men. After researching and reading about David Dwight Eisenhower, I have learned a lot. I believe that Eisenhower was one of the greatest presidents we ever had. Eisenhower's greatest strength as a General was his ability to get all the other big leaders of the western allies to form a consensus.
In the past decade, there have been rapidly changes occur in the organization related to the rapidly advancement in technology and different behavior between generation X and Y. All this changes will influence leadership in order to create effective workplace environment and satisfying employees. To overcome this problem, we will examine leaders as change agents. Which theory of leadership is most applicable to be a leader as change agent? Before we go further, we need to define and understand what change agent is.
Major Institutions Changes in the United States The world today is changing at a rapid pace. As the people in the United States changes, the laws that govern the citizens have to change. The United States government creates new laws and bills to pass in to law to protect the United States people. As the United States evolves the way the laws are structured has to change. In the United States today many changes are going on, three major institution changes in the United States are family, church, and school.
Training involves hand-to-hand combat, weapons training, and a good knowledge of the Federal Justice System. Marshals provide an excellent service to America and its People, which they have gladly and happily provide. Marshals have had a long history that has helped shape the United States in some way, they also are a key part in our government today, and it takes a lot to become a United States Marshal. The Marshal Service helped established a type of Federal Task Force, whether it was helping shape the old west or in the present right now. My Best Job My best job that I have ever had is when I decided to become a United States Marine. This is the best job not only because I am being able to serve my country honorably and faithfully, but because some of benefits the Marine Corps has to offer. Three benefits that are very important to me are the educational opportunities, pride of belonging and the travel and adventure. Besides the fact that I wanted to be a United States Marine, one of the biggest reasons I joined is because of the educational opportunities. The Marine Corps has what is called the Montgomery G.I.
