The North and South have many similarities and differences between each other. The hospitals care for the North and South mostly the same with medical care. The South had more soldiers and a larger population, and the North had a smaller army and population. In the North there economy is better than the South’s economy but the south had bigger plantations. In the North their skills were not as well as the South’s who had more experience. The North and South are alike in many ways but they have their differences. The North and South had many different interesting things about the Civil War. The North was called the Union and the South was called the Confederacy when the United States was a split country. This split country had other names besides the Union and the Confederacy. The North’s name was the Yankees instead of being called the Union most of the time. The South was called the Rebels it was another name for the Confederates. The North’s president was Abraham Lincoln and the South’s president was Jefferson Davis. The economy in the North was better because the South did not have a great economy at the time. The reason why the North’s economy was better than the South’s is because the north had more factories, food, soldiers, money, and rail road’s to help with the war. The South had only a few factories and rail road’s to transport their food and their soldiers. The South had a larger population and the North had a small population. Since the South had a larger population they had a bigger army. The Union had a smaller army because of their smaller population in North. In the North they had smaller farms and the South had large plantations. The North and South had many interesting differences and facts from the Civil War.
