Children develop well when adults protect their physical and emotional aspects, and also looking after their health. -POSITIVE RELATIONSHIP- for children important is to feel comfortable with us. It should be comfortable,interesting attractive and age appropriate for any child who use it. Every child is important and are individual especially if they have special needs. Whether working with babies or 3-4 yr old some layouts will be similar but the age and abilities of the children is important so therefore the different resources and equipment should be age appropriate and carry the usual safety markings, there should also be equipment and resources for children who may have special needs.
* Equipment needs to be clean, free from sharp edges and not have been in contact with anything unsuitable. * All settings must comply with regulatory requirements as set out by the statutory framework for the early years foundation stage (EYFS) such as meeting indoor space requirements, and provision made for children to relax, play quietly or sleep. * The environment / activities should promote the desired outcomes for children, they need to be safe but to also help the child learn new skills and confidence and independence these may contain a measurable risk but the positives would need
Children should be given the correct information according to their ages, needs and abilities. They need to be aware of their bodies, how they function and how to respect them and keep them safe. Children should be made aware that as they mature their emotions will develop. They should be made aware that as they grow older their bodies will change and to not be obsessed with images of celebrities in the media. Children should also be made aware of early and inappropriate relationships and how to look after themselves.
This helps us as care providers to learn about that particular child and their rate of development and their ability to do things. No one child is the same as another. Not every child develops at the same rate as others. Therefore, promoting one on one time with each child is important. Have fun with children.
With positive behaviour around, children find it much easier what is expected of them. Starting from a young age having boundaries with children is crucial so as they grow they will know what behaviour is acceptable and what behaviour isn't. They need consistency so that way staff have to work close with partent/carers to let them know what boundaries we have in our settings and try and get the partents to use our techniques at home so the children dont get confussed. Children need a lot of consistency in their lifes to help them know what is good behaviour. This also helps children take responsibility for their actions and also they are part of the process.

It is our responsibility to make sure children get the opportunity to learning without the fear of being hated or discriminated. Protecting them during their early years ensures children are not victims of abuse, it also ensures that their welfare and well being is protected. Children need an adult to look after them all the time, they are not aware of dangers that may harm them, especially children with special needs, they cannot sense danger, that is why we have to protect them all
The statement is important because it protects children form mistreatment from CASHE students. Maslow’s hierarchy of individual needs prepare children for later in life by developing their personal, social and emotional skills. This supports children by allowing them to carry their skills through life enabling them to be successful in school and at work. This is important as is helps children to live as they want

It is important to ensure that children and young people are protected within the setting because it helps the child to learn and thrive. It only can happen it the child is healthy and safe and their welfare is promoted and also it gives the child to develop and achieve from an early age.
