In document 3, Harry Truman states that the developing countries not only need but also deserve the support of the developed countries to improve living conditions, food supply, disease control, and economic life. The significance of this article is that the author never states that the Green Revolution is the solution, he only points out that there is a problem and that the developed countries are what can solve it. Document 10 states that the nature of the seed the people of Latin America had been growing for thousands of years has lost respect due to the imposition of the Green Revolution. He later says how the revolution contaminated the seeds as well as the over all environment. The significance of this document is that the author is explaining how the Green Revolution has affected small countries and peoples in a bad manner and that the revolution did not help their situation.
His singular style of play brought joy to millions, and has likewise led to the spread of cultural acceptance mentality that is present in his songs. Dave Matthews was an exceptional player who brought something fresh to the table where the music industry was dominated by rap and grime music. His music, instead of containing lyrics that hold contempt for others, preached acceptance of all polishes. Matthews was also an incredible success with successful multiple visits and a great fan base that allowed Matthews to achieve four platinum albums, and one independent album gold. The music of Dave Matthews preaches acceptance of cultures, and I think Matthews intends to shift the point of persuasion of people about different cultures through his speech.
Walter says that “To further increase our discomfort, it was snowing hard. The wind was blowing the flakes around so hard you could barely see. What was worse, we were not properly equipped for that type of weather” (Barnes). He also says the snow was about two feet deep. The grueling conditions surely affected the way the battle was fought, especially that when the weather was too bad the allies couldn’t use air support to help the
Bernie Madoff is a lucky man. To be run a ponzi scheme for that long and not get caught is unimaginable. Almost as unimaginable as the fact that not one of his ripped clientele tried to kill him. Money is the controlling force in our nation, and to be stripped away of almost all of it is a punishment all itself. But that affects his wife and family more than him, so 150 years in a federal prison will have to do as a direct punishment for him.

To go along with the 4,400 Americans that wont be coming home to their families, there were over 32,000 Americans wounded in this war. So was this $4 trillion dollar war really wort our time and the lives it cost us? I say no, I feel we spent far too long helping a country that wanted nothing but for us to leave their country for years. We have cost too many lives, and have changed too many lives with injuries to justify a war where we simply just pull out. The results did not justify the losses America took, including how negative our image has become over the years, the financial hole we dug ourselves into, and the way we've affected Americans for the
Alfred Nobel owns the credit for inventing the dynamite, but he doesn’t carry an ethical responsibility for what the dynamite is being used for now a days. He just wanted to make life easier, now is it his fault that some people are misusing it for their own cruel purposes, to hurt people? Definitely not. It’s the fault of the people who are using it for wrong purposes. As rightly said by Pierre Curie, “Alfred Nobel's discoveries are characteristic; powerful explosives can help men perform admirable tasks.
