In this paper I will apply the cause-and-effect diagram, a decision-making technique that will help me to identify the best solution for Kava. In addition, I will provide an analysis of all the steps used in applying the fishbone diagram. I will conclude the paper explaining how critical thinking skills influences and/or impacts the solution I proposed using this decision making technique. Identifying a Solution with a Cause-and-Effect (fishbone) Diagram The fishbone diagram will let me visually see all the causes that are affecting Kava, each of the causes has an effect on Kava’s presence. In this particular case, the effects are negatively impacting the country’s reputation around the world. Therefore, there is a need to understand the causes and effects affecting Kava to determine the best solution for Kava’s problem. As discuss in the previous paper, economic and natural factors have been affecting Kava’s presence.
