Firstly, let’s discuss cats. Cats by nature are independent, solitary animals. This isn’t to say that they make poor companions; it’s just saying they aren’t very needy in the level of attention they require. The key thing to note about a cat’s demeanor is that they do what they want to, when they want to, and how they want to. Cats could not care less how much you beg, plead, or bride them; your purpose is to please them not the other way around.
People say that, “Dogs are a man’s best friend.” That might be true, but dogs are not only the animal friend whose companionship people enjoy. Despite what dog lovers believe, cats are great house pets. People say, “Well, dogs can do stuff, like fetch and play tricks.” Does that mean that cats can’t? Cats can do tricks just as well as dogs can if the owners have the patient to train them. April 11th 2004, Loti Donald taught his cat to play dead, roll over and fetch.
Many people believe that because of cats’ independent nature, they should be allowed to roam free. This allows them to satisfy their hunting instincts and to function within cat society, one that has its own rules and structure. Some people assert that free-roaming cats are happier cats, living a life closer to that intended by Nature. This is all true, but it is not compatible with modern life in suburban North America. Roaming cats are susceptible to attack by other animals, to trapping by angry neighbours, and most of all, to traffic accidents.
Another aspect to consider is time management. Cats are solitary animals, which means they are usually fine being left alone. They can be left inside for a longer periods of time, considering the fact that they use litter boxes. Also, cats are less active so they don’t need as much cat sitting or exercise as compared to dogs. Overall, cats seem to be very well balanced and more flexible than dog.
Many people these days think that cats are more sophisticated than dogs. However I believe that dogs are the pets to have for several reasons. Dogs can protect your family, are loyal, and are extremely social. Let us take a closer view at this position. First of all, a dog can protect families in many ways.
Scooby doo, Gromit, Snoopy, Goofy, Pluto, Clifford and Red Dog. They are all famous dogs of course! How many famous cats can you think of? You would have be a toidi to think that cats are better than dogs. I defiantly believe that dogs are way better than cats.
These people work with cats on a daily basis, so they are like a part of their life. By using the cat as the main focus for the advertisement, it can reach out to children as well. Most children are animal lovers, and when advertisements reach out to children, and then, it will eventually reach out to the parents. Fresh step used humor for this
Why Cats Makes Better Pets than Dogs –Sean Curtis The competition between the cat and dog to win the best pet award isn’t anything new and has been around for quite some time. Cats and dogs are undoubtedly one of the most famous animals that people all over chose to pet; the reason being that these animals can relate best to human emotions and needs in comparison to snakes or hamsters. In the article, “Why Cats Makes Better Pets than Dogs,” by Sean Curtis, Curtis tries to justify why he thinks cats make better pets than dogs. His views though are agreeable to some extent. Curtis’ basic argument can be summarized as follows: 1.
Nye uses simple imagery in this line to create an image in the reader’s mind, which then gives a better understanding of this line. Watching a television program brings about knowledge to a person. After seeing a person or place frequently on television, they become familiar to the viewer. Just as “The cat sleeping on the fence is famous to the birds watching him from the birdhouse”. The cat is familiar to the birds.
The mice are what Lennie remembers his Aunt Clara by, and that’s the only thing he has to remember her by are those mice. The mice also show that Lennie hurts things he loves, not intentionally, but that’s what he does. Since he likes to pet soft things, it leads him to kill his mice, his puppy, and Curley’s wife. Like Lennie, mice suffer because they’re small; mice’s physical smallness leaves it in danger, just like Lennie’s mental smallness does the same. Lennie’s puppy represents the victory of the strong over the weak.
