“An argument is a connected series of statements that establish a definite proposition” (n.d.). A logical argument consists of two or more statements or propositions that should provide support for the conclusion. A logical argument should be supported with the logical connection between the statements. 2. When and how do we use them?
A lot of people think that football games are the highlight of a cheerleader’s career—wrong again. Football games are like practices; games are actually much easier than practices. There is a ton of preparation that goes on for competition behind the scenes. First, you meet the team; then, you learn your skills and routine; next, you tweak it until it is perfect, and finally everything comes down to six minutes on the floor in front of judges. Two routines, that’s the only chance you have to prove you are the best.
Fans just consider us a part of the crowd. Little do they know, football games are like lazy practices for us. Along with cheering at football games, most cheerleading teams compete in intense competitions to show off our skills and athleticism. Preparing for these competitions takes months. The practices are long and grueling and you definitely have to be dedicated or you wont succeed.
What gives any person the right to judge a woman and tell her she’s not feminine enough? Instead of focusing on the appearance of these young women we should be celebrating their accomplishments. At 22 years old, most people would think that an athlete would be at the peak of their career. However this past May, Triathlete, Hollie Avil announced her retirement after struggling with anorexia for nearly six years. It all started when she was 16 years old and another teammates coach told her she needed to start thinking about losing weight if she wanted to run faster.
If we just sit on the legs, you will easily get injured. Because when you are relaxing, actually you are giving more weight on your legs and your feet, so if we repeat doing that many times, one day you will get injured. Injuries can come very easily. You have to pay a lot more attention in pointe class. When teacher is explaining the exercise, do not day dream, you have to listen to the exercise and listen to her corrections, because if you don’t know what the exercise and corrections are, when you have to do it, you will easily get injured and you are not working your body, so that will be no use for dancing on pointe.
What makes a study both reliable and valid? Reliability is defined as the quality of a test such that it is consistent. It is whether a test measures something consistently. There are four different types of reliability; test-retest, parallel forms, internal consistency, and interrater. Test-rest reliability is used when you want to examine if a text is reliable over time.

Pilates has benefited me in numerous ways. It has benefitted my muscular system in that it has increased my core strength and added slight definition to my legs and arms. I am able to perform the core strengthening exercises for longer periods now and with better techniques as I have become accustomed to them and the muscles needed to perform them. When we first started doing Pilates in class my back was continuously hurting, but now my back muscles are tighter and my back hardly ever aches anymore. I also had problem with my shoulder and knees.
Being in sports give me the courage and strength to do well in my classes, because if I don’t I will not be able to be basically anything possible to keep running. I always tell myself that without a good education I will never get any were, that’s why school comes in first before anything else. I have face extremely hard obstacles in the track and cross country starting with hitting the times asked by my coaches. When I am asked to hit a certain time it is usually for an important reason not just for me but for the team as well. I always challenge myself to go faster than what I’m asked for.
