Statement of Faith Submitted by Isaac Thomason to Dr. Earl Kellett in Partial Fulfillment of the Requirements for CST 3090: Christian Theology Shorter University ▪ Rome, Georgia November 12, 2012 God I believe that there is One God, existing in three Persons. He is living and the only true God, being all-knowing, all-powerful, and personal in the deepest sense. His knowledge of both the past, present and future are perfect and infinite. This also includes the foreknowledge of the free will of humans, as well as all other created beings. He is omnipresent and dwells in every part of the believer. He is the Creator and Savior of the universe that redeems Christians from their sins.…show more content…
We are not body, soul, and spirit, as taught in the Bible, but just body.” This means that all humans are created with somewhat of a sense of morality. I say “somewhat” for the sake of the mentally disabled. Everyone will be held accountable for how they lived their life here on earth, whether mentally challenged or not. Many theologians and I myself fully agree with this statement. Theologians like Dan Story obviously believe that no one person can judge. Only God can judge the hearts of humans. The morality of every person’s heart will be taken into account on the Day of Judgment. Sin and the Human Condition When recognizing sin, you must know where morality is founded. It is founded in God, Who did not only create the Ten Commandments, but He is the standard and the law. God allowed sin to come into the world. He did not create it, yet He created the possibility of it. God cannot sin nor even be tempted by sin. He is so holy, just, and full of grace that He had to send His Son, Jesus Christ, to die for these sins and humans’ depraved condition. In order to admit
