According to the Motivational Theory, Brett Favre was put on this earth to play football; he lives for football. The forces within Favre drove him to keep playing football. The level of conflict Favre has going inside is insanely high. As a superstar football player made a big decision to come back and play more football, there were many people he feels he must please to keep his fame. The anxiety level that comes along with these conflicts has to be tremendous on oneself.
Annan in his essay also admired the transparency in football because he believes that it is missing in the UN. When he writes "This is an event in which everybody knows where their team stands, and what it did to get there." It shows that "he wishes they had more of that sort of competition in the family of nations". He mentioned to the accountability in football and he says "governments being held accountable" to show that it is one of his wishes in the UN. In Annan's opinion, If we are not as united as we should be, that is because it is a reflection of the world we live in and that's why it was so exciting to be in somewhere during the World Cup.
Valdez Randall Dear Introduction to bears football 9/04/2015 No Bears player took more "mental reps" in training camp than quarterback David Fales, who didn't practice until the team's final day in Bourbonnais due to an undisclosed illness. "It's hard to go out there and do it sometimes," Fales said Thursday night after leading the Bears to a 24-0 win over the Cleveland Browns in the preseason finale at Soldier Field. "It's easy to understand what's going on. But getting under center and seeing it when you're behind the line and guys are coming at you, it's different." | David Fales passed for 131 yards and two touchdowns.

Date: March 21, 2012 To: Mrs. Tice From: Tylor Mills Subject : New Game Uniforms Football is a huge tradition at Kossuth High School. Deion Sanders once said “If you look good you play good.” Our team has had the same game uniforms since 2006. They are old and worn out, and in desperate need of replacing. When we travel to other schools and represent our own, do we want to wear something that looks like it has been dug out of the garbage? If we have uniforms that look like terrible then the players are going to think, well if they don’t care about us and how we look on the field then why should we play for them.
It only takes a second for you to be in a car accident, so stay cautious for those who are driving and texting. The story of Xzaiver shows us why driving and texting is a terrible idea. Xzaiver is a young boy who is athletic and likes football. His favorite team is the Green Bay Packers. He also liked to play football out in his backyard but sadly that journey ends.
This book was a great book based on the sport football. I would tell other people to read it if they like sports or if they like flashbacks or if they like sad endings and what the people talk about at the funeral. I don’t normally like to read books but this one was really good. I would tell people who like the game football and how people went through school or if you have been injured and you were a good player at any sport because it tells you what he did when he got hurt how he dropped out and how he dealt with it hurting his life. There are some bad reasons about this book to its not perfect I would say.
In the film "Remember the Titians" directed by Boaz Yakin an important relationship is formed between American football players Gerry Betrier, white captain and Julius Campbell, black defender. Visual and oral techniques used in this film to help convey these ideas are the use of music, costume and close up camera shot. This relationship between Gerry and Julius helps convey the ideas of brotherhood, equality and not to judge people. At the start of the film Gerry and Julius were quick to judge each other by their skin color, they were like enemies and treated each other with hatred. During training camp and being forced to dorm with each other they soon learn to put aside their differences and accept each other.
I am not much of a football fan myself, but my friend and his family are. When I go over to his house, most of what his parents talk about is football. I have watched a game with him and his parents, and when something goes wrong in the game, they get too angry and just completely over-react about it. Football is also very over-competetive. To the fans watching the game, it is always about winning and never losing.
