So I thought that it wasn’t bad if I was going to take the classes in Spanish that means that the other students talk Spanish too. The lady in the office told us that everything was ok and I could start classes the next week. In my first day of school I was a little be nervous but not to worry because of my mom and the lady in the office said to me. But for my surprise when I get to the school I realize that everybody talks English to me and when I look at them with a face that means “I don’t understand” they just continue talking in English. I could see that they tried to be understood speaking slowly, but didn’t work.
Instead, they favored a form called “English Immersion”. On CQ Researcher, a mother named Miriam Flores tells a story about her daughter who goes to school in the border town of Nogales, Ariz. Each new day makes me wonder what I will go through. Maybe I’ll be getting tossed around, ripped apart & spun out of my whits to become the most beautiful, cold, dull and grey vase ever to be placed in someones home. But for me scraps is all that I've been, mushed back together and thrown into the plastic bag, left for another person to play with me and and mold me to end up throwing me back in the bag where I don’t belong. Elated and surprised my thoughts were wrong.

Most Mexicans migrate to the U.S. because they see a chance to better their lives and the lives of their families. In the Mexican culture. With a growing number of Mexicans migrating to the United States, it is no surprise that Mexicans are starting to run for political offices here in America.
But what if the big bad wolf really wasn’t so bad? This idea is explored in The True Story of the Three Little Pigs, where the wolf just has a bad cold and was looking for some sugar from his very rude pig neighbors. As a child, I remember loving how funny this book was, but I appreciate it even more as an adult. It’s funny to hear things from the poor wolf’s perspective, like that he didn’t mean to sneeze and blow the first two pigs houses down, and that he was just trying to make a cake for his grandmother. I really enjoyed the story.
