The Life of Benjamin Franklin Benjamin Franklin has been known for many things. He was an inventor and a Scientist. Even from the early age of ten when he worked for his father to the day that he died Franklin was always creating something wonderful. Franklin was not just and inventor but a founding father of the United States of America and served as delegates and as representatives. Benjamin Franklin started out as a young boy working in his older brothers printing shop and died a man of many accomplishments. He invented many things that people use every day with out any thought to it such as the bifocals. Even as talented as Franklin was he had failed experiments as well, commonly known as the Glass Armonica, it was an musical invention that was nearly impossible to play the right way and had a tendency of cracking into pieces (O’Brien 73). Even though Franklin was not always known for being the best family man, he gave America the tremendous push it needed to get started. His inventions and political goals set us on the path we still follow today whether it was electricity or the day he signed the Declaration of Independence.
