Health care and reform has been the most debated subject in in the recent years “2008 to present”. The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act “Obama Care” is the center of debate and conflict between the House and Senate to include the individual States. The goal of Obama Care is to reform the American health care system by regulating the health insurance industry and at the same time lessen spending within then health care industry. On March 23, 2010, President Obama signed “Obama Care” into law, just three months after taking office. Frederick Clarkson is the editor of Dispatches from the Religious Left: The Future of Faith and Politics in America (IgPublishing), from which this commentary is adapted. He is a member ofthe editorial board of The Public Eye. In the wake of pre-election punditry that the Religious Right is dead and that the so called Culture Wars are over, I wrote a piece for The Public Eye: “The Culture Wars Are Not Over: The Institutionalization of the Christian Right.”1 The year was 2001, what many now consider to have been the high watermark of the power and influence of the Religious Right in American politics. During the 2008 election season we have heard similar claims by Washington,D.C. insiders and pundits that the Religious Right is dead, dying,
In source 4 we also learn that much must have depended on diplomatic relations with Maximilian and Ferdinand, however Henry’s allies proved unfaithful and unreliable. Source 4, is written by a member of the Government of England. The government is who Henry and Wolsey would go to for Money for these situations. The Government did not like how much Money Henry kept asking for so this could have been reflected in Keith Randall’s report. Henry spent 1.4 millions pounds on fighting wars between 1511-25 and this set England back a far way.
Freedom of religion is a favored value in the American constitutional system. It is the first guarantee of the First Amendment. The first Amendment was enacted against the background of an established church in Great Britain during the colonial period and the official persecution of religious dissenters in Great Britain and colonial America. This amendment provides double protection to freedom of religion with two clauses. These two clauses, the Establishment Clause and the Free Exercise Clause, concern the relationship between government and religion.

Divided government is when the Presidency and Congress are controlled by different political parties. This has an impact on the dynamics of our government. A divided government provides an incentive for the Congress party to race undecided and controversial issues to damage the unity and coherence of the Presidential party. This always promotes controversy. Through this, our nation’s trust and confidence in our government has severely declined.
Some of the cons of it would be if the United States went universal we would lose out on a lot of companies. Which I think is kind of selfish if you ask me. They are so scared that the government will be in charge. They feel like the government will have say so over everything. Medicare/Medicaid and Social Security are run by the government.
Drunken workers and absentee workers were not good for American business. For these reasons, individual states took action. By the time America entered World War I in 1917, twenty-six states had voted themselves dry. World War I overwhelmed the wets as they tried to oppose the push for Prohibition. Many Americans believes that spending money on beer, wine, and whiskey when the nation needed all its resources to fight in Europe was unpatriotic.
