Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder Paper

ADHD Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder is becoming more prevalent in children than in years past. This disorder affects thousands of people in our country and the numbers just keep rising. This is a disorder that is often overlooked or is sometimes misdiagnosed for something else. Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder is most often diagnosed when children reach school age and to me is becoming a school aged epidemic. Is this disorder over diagnosed? Can it be prevented? What attributes to this disorder and what are the statistics? In this paper I will cover what this disorder is and what the statistics are and what can be done to prevent or help it once diagnosed.
