You would think that training someone about the cultures and traditions of whom they will be doing business with would make sense. But, that requires a change in our thinking process about how we think about other cultures and their beliefs and values. Our text refers to a model developed by David Hoopes that takes us from Ethnocentrism to Multiculturalism (Shriberg, 2011, p. 39-40). Ethnocentrism is believing that your culture is superior to all others and you don’t even consider other cultures to Multiculturism which is the desire to learn and understand other cultures and their values and traditions ( Shriberg, 2011, p. 39-40). It is our natural tendency to think and believe that what we believe and how we traditionally do business is the best way for it to be done because it is what has worked for us.

By properly establishing and exercising these panoptical devices crime rate will be reduced while having a limited interaction with citizens, which sustains a healthy balance between privacy and protection. Closed-circuit televisions are morally and widely spread in a preemptive strike to stop crime and implement the affects of panopticism. Although these cameras have been proven to reduce crime and resolve criminal acts, such modern technology has its confinements. This is to be expected, because there is no such thing as a perfect system of government. Privacy is the main reasoning for this turmoil.
Unit 6 Assignment Cindy Torres Kaplan University IT530 – Computer Networks 6/23/2015 Wireless networks are great addition to any organization, home office and home use but it has to be protected correctly to make sure that intruders do not get in. In my previous job, our wireless network was set up the same way as the other networks and not everyone could connect to it. They would not allow anyone to connect to it, if we had a visitor they had to use one of our computers, if they were going to be doing work for us and needed to use their system the IT depart had to set up a special login to limit their use. They were very strict with the access of their wireless network and think that their current process is great at protecting their networks. At my home office and home set up when it comes to connecting to my wireless we have set it up that all devices, like our smart phones, tablets and other gadgets are connected using a password order to get connected this is done to make sure that our network is protected.

The Balanced Stakeholder Approach is adopted with the aim of fulfilling the expectations of the vital stakeholder groups. The three barriers to the success of CCC are (1) CUP’s corporate culture, (2) the control structure of CCC, and (3) the compensation of agents. CUP Corporation does not possess a customer-centric culture, which poses as a significant obstacle to the CCC initiative. Top management must implement cultural changes using the framework of Johnson and Scholes’ Cultural Web. They should analyze the current culture, envision the desired culture, map the differences between current and proposed culture, and develop a plan to address them.

1.1 Duality management This is the major challenge for HR managers to handle the balance between many paradoxes which exist in a transnational company. It is important for a firm to keep its company culture as a whole because different culture can have different impacts to the company. By looking at the Hofstede’s culture model will see that different countries’ culture will have different reactions to the: 1.power distance; 2. Individualism and collectivism; 3.masculinity vs. femininity; 4. uncertainty avoidance and 5. long-term and short-term orientation. Other paradoxes like flexibility vs. stability; consistency vs. adaptability and unitary vs. pluralistic are also important factors which require attention of the HR manager.
