Applying for a Job I am writing my paper on the process of applying for a job. This is a process that I think is one of the most important that an individual can learn in today’s day-to-day life. Applying for a job is a fairly straightforward process but must be taken seriously in order to get respect and give that right first impression in order to get the job that is being seeked. The first step to be taken in the job seeking process is of course finding the job that is wanted or needed. If it’s a job that the applicant wants but doesn’t necessarily need then it doesn’t really matter the level of experience required, so it could be a job at a local hospital or a job at the local McDonalds. But if the job is desperately needed then where that person works is vital to their income and their happiness in the workplace. Furthermore, after the job has been selected then the next process would be applying. Applying should be fairly simple. Just walk into the workplace and ask if they’re hiring and if so then ask for an application for employment. This should be done in a very nice and pleasant manner. No matter how well prepared the application and the resume was. Try practicing in front of a mirror. The more practice that is obtained the better prepared you’ll be for the interview. Another thing that one could try is making a list of questions that an employer may ask or research commonly asked questions in interviews. Always remember that Google works wonders. Make sure that your answers are quick and to the point and that they make sense. The more an applicant stutters after a question the more likely an employer is to think that they are making it all up and that they aren’t prepared overall, which could reflect on a business
