Social patterns differed between New England and the Chesapeake, contributing to the disparities between the two areas. Customarily colonists traveling together were from the same area of England and would settle close together in self-sufficient communities upon reaching their destination. Additionally, everyone shared a meadow where they worked together to cultivate the land and raise livestock.

Pakistani weddings have two sides, first there’s a religious ceremony at a mosque where there’s a mullah who reads them their vows and there can’t be any music at this part of the wedding because this part is like a Islamic ceremony where the bride and groom make a promise in front of God. After the religious part is over the other part of the wedding usually takes place a week after where they can dance and enjoy. Family and friends play a big role in both weddings; they are the most important part of the wedding.
Doing business in an area whose predominate members are retirees, opened a niche for this business to primarily offer easy to grow container or small home garden items. This keeps inventory costs low and in demand; allowing Redwoman to charge premium prices. Operating only February through August, Wednesday through Saturday; in a 20’ x 30’ greenhouse, owned by the CEO keeps operating costs very low for this small business. All three employees are experts in container and home gardening. Each employee is required to research, grow and educate themselves on each variety of plant offered.

Upper and middle class girls were taught from a young age the skills they would need in order to keep a happy, healthy, peaceful home. While the outside world and working force were definitively male, the home was considered to be a feminine place. The outside world was evil and full of sin and wrongdoing, but the home was a moral haven (MacKethan). Husbands went to work in the corrupt world of industry, so they were meant to come home, decompress, and once again become attuned with their compassionate side.
The Cherokee wedding is said to be a very beautiful ritual. It is forbidden to marry with in on family clan. Because the women hold the family clan, both her mother and oldest brother at the wedding ceremony represent her. The setting of the wedding blessed seven days prior to the ceremony. What is a Family?
