The Negative Effects of Underage Drinking I am writing this essay because I was caught drinking under the age of alcohol consumption. I regret it deeply because I could have gotten into a lot of trouble, and it really is not worth it. I could have gotten jail time and a hefty fine if I was 18 or older and that isn’t good. Some of the negative effects of underage drinking are one, it could have ruined me chance of going to college since nobody wants a trouble maker at their school and that would’ve devastated me. Going to college is my number one priority and I could’ve lost that all in one night and it was very stupid of me.
Q) “Fertility Treatment is never justified.” Discuss (10 Marks) Fertility Treatment is the use of medicine and medical procedures to help infertile couples who want children, have children. Fertility Treatment is allowed in the UK as it is viewed as a fundamental desire to want to have children and thus we should help couples who are having trouble conceiving to conceive. However some thinkers would argue that this is wrong and should not be allowed. Natural Law thinkers are set well against Fertility Treatment. They have many issues with processes such as IVF as masturbation to gain the sperm used in IVF is viewed as a misuse of the genitals.
(Premise) 2. A fetus is an innocent human life. (Premise) 3. Therefore abortion is morally impermissible (From 1 and 2) Instead of continuing the seemingly endless argument on whether the right to life is more important than the right to one’s body, Warren offers a different perspective by disagreeing with premise 2. By examining the views on abortion of Marry Anne Warren, this paper will argue that abortion is morally permissible on the grounds that early fetuses, though they are genetically human, are not persons (members of the moral community).
In my opinion, parents should not vaccinate their children if they want to protect them from developing autism. First of all parents should not vaccinate their children, if they want to protect them from developing autism, because families all over the nation are pointing to childhood vaccinations as the cause for autism. Despite what government and medical authorities say about the safety of vaccines, parents are wise to hear what the parents of autistic children say about their children being normal until vaccinations (Attkinson, 2011). Even though this is not official scientific proof, it is definitely loud enough to make any parent think twice before vaccinating their children. Secondly, parents should oppose vaccinating their children as a way of protection from developing autism because of the significant step of banning mercury from being included in vaccines, which was taken by the US government related to this matter (Campbell, 2004).
We are so concerned with what we have to say or what we are upset about that we don’t listen to the other persons input. When a problem arises in a relationship you have to solve it together. You can’t try and fix it yourself because it just won’t work. The lack of communication can also lead to other reasons relationships fail, like cheating. Cheating is a symptom of lack of respect and communication.
Persons that are pro legal abortion claim that a fetus is not a human being and that personhood begins at birth. In addition they claim fetuses are incapable of feeling pain when an abortion is performed. The anti-abortion is usually a religious belief and threatens the vital separation of church and state. Furthermore, abortion gives the couples the option to choose not to birth babies with severe and life-threatening medical conditions; it is not right to sentence a child to life with an acute handicap such as Cystic Fibrosis or Down Syndrome. Moreover children should not come into the world unwanted as this only increases the already high number of orphans.
Even in the case of rape, the RC Church does not support abortion - the foetus would be paying for someone else’s crime. “Human life is sacred”. Humanae Vitae, 1968: “The unborn human being’s right to live is one of the inalienable human rights” Pope John Paul II, 1985 "Abortion is a serious sin. Everyone, whether Catholic or not, should have a proper respect for human life. "Declaration on Procured Abortion, 1974: "From the time that the ovum is fertilised a new life is begun which is neither that of the father or the mother.
Americans need to turn back to the teachings of the Bible and refrain from recreational sex. Abortion should not be an option for someone who takes pregnancy lightly. Abortion kills innocent babies who did not ask to be conceived and did nothing to deserve being aborted. Babies are precious gifts from God to be cherished and loved from the moment of their conception. If someone does not want a baby, she should refrain from sexual activity or use protection.
Let’s just say that it’s not the same as it was before. Teens attend the event drunk and/or high, females wear very revealing dresses, and males wear tennis shoes. Just like music, fashion, TV shows, and the advancement in technology has changed so has prom. Prom as a whole has been destroyed from its original state. Kenneth Hoagland a principal, at Kellenberg Memorial High School in Uniondale, has canceled the senior proms because he wants the students and the parents consider how they spend their money on preparation for the prom.
Censorship is also ridiculous because most classic novels involve questionable language, or somewhat violent material. If the library removes these books, the patrons under eighteen lose the opportunity to learn valuable lessons from them. A last reason that censorship is unbelievable is patrons over eighteen will most likely want to check out the books that are in question to be removed. If the town council decides to remove them, many patrons will become enraged. Deciding if a library patron under eighteen should be aloud to read a questionable book is the decision of the patron and their parents.
