Tom eventually leaves his house and travels the world getting the adventure he wants but he has to live with the regret of letting his family down for the rest of his life. At the end of the novel The Great Gatsby by f. Scott Fitzgerald Jay Gatsby is in his swimming pool and he gets shot. Gatsby never achieved his American Dream because he spent most of his life living in the past instead of moving on. At the end of The Glass Menagerie by Tennessee Williams Tom Wingfield gets what he wanted by traveling the world. Tom Wingfield always wanted adventure instead of his boring life but he had a lot of responsibility at his house.

This fishing trip was a big deal because it was the first “normal” day for the men who are locked away from society. I think that chief was able to pull of the routine after the party because he never said anything or responded in a noticeable way. Also, I think that all of the workers were focused McMurphy after he tried to choke out Nurse Ratchett. Billy’s problem is that he always fears his mother.
Ed was rewarded an iron cross for bravery in World War One, because he was at this time a veteran, he owned a store where he sold clothing. On the first floor of their house, where he mainly sold handmaid men suits. During summer, Wolf would take a ferry across the nearby river and go swimming in the Moselle. He looked forward to it all year until he finally got the chance. His mom was always cautious every year and tie a rope around Wolf’s wrist and then would let him go into the water, he hated this!
Childhood memories were illustrated in stories by the brothers. They even participated in snagging a Nome they hated as children together and acted like pirates to have a good time. Dominoes was a game that was played in their kitchen to pass the time. Overall, the two brothers had a good time together after not seeing each other for 5 years and the play ended without telling the audience if Malcolm made his decision to stay or leave. The play gave the impression that family is important and should be the most valued in any situation.
As he grew older, Pickton frequently skipped school to stay home on the farm. Robert’s father was not involved in raising the children; he was known to be emotionally abusive towards Robert, causing Robert to feel neglected. His mother, Louise, might have done the best she knew how to, but she was apparently eccentric and tough on her children. It is said that Robert was very close to his mother. Louise was workaholic who ran the family meat business, she supervised the kids and expected them to put in long hours slopping pigs and looking after other animals, even on school days.

After receiving the bag of winds from Aeolus, Odysseus and his crew board their ship and are on their way back home. Odysseus does not reveal the contents of the bag to his crew, making them inquisitive. Due to the fact that he has not slept in nine days, he falls asleep on the tenth night because of exhaustion and minding the sail for all of the days.
